I have both these guys and there’s things I like/dislike about both, but overall I just love them so much because I love Jetfire. Getting that VF-1 as a Transformer was such a huge thrill as a kid. I knew what he was because I’d seen Robotech. I didn’t care if there was a huge Autobot symbol on the nose. Rick Hunter and I were off fighting Zentraedi while trying to understand girls!
friendly reminder that hasbro stopped making jetfires because of harmony gold and their iron grip on macross/robotech, and as soon as hG lost the court case, hasbro cranked out Generations Jetfire within like the same month. lol
Honestly, the armada and energon series got so many good characters, only if someone could remodel those instead of Hasbro takara molds. They are just pathetic and don't do any justice.

Man Gen Jetfire is still such a good toy. Siege of course blows it away but for it's time he was on POINT.
Blows it away in a cartoon accurate sense. I think either of these could be preferred if sunbow isn't the frame of reference!
IDW's shiny Jetfire is great but my favorite is Shattered Dimensions Jetfire
2:15 to 2:22 was a better action scene, than the last Transformers Movie! 😊

Generations is actually neat, modern vehicle + classic robot.

What I find funny is how the designers of both Jetfires bent over backwards to show that these guys are sooo NOT ripoffs of the Macross VF-1 Valkyrie.
Generations Jetfire design wise is so much more my speed, I was never huge on cartoon skyfire's design except his head.
