Off topic but I wish Too Faced would bring back their Peach Perfect line. That really was an amazing transfer proof natural looking foundation and great powder/setting spray, etc. For some reason this brand doesn't scream shadows to me however that Ulta collection looked really pretty. I think they could do some revamping on their line but just my opinion 😉 Loved as always Rebecca 🥰

The Peach Perfect Foundation is my Holy grail summer foundation and I still have a backup when I finally run out of my current one. So sad to see that one discontinued, but there's so much new to try now.

Pastel shades will work better and pop and bit more if you use a primer underneath, particularly a white one. It's a pretty palette though! In all honesty I don't see the resemblence to the Urban Decay palette. To me that one is all orange and lack-luster shimmer, whereas I see spring in this palette. That blush is calling out to me too!
The blush is actually the prettiest part of the collection. So I totally see your point on that. And absolutely agreed needed a white primer but ended up working in layers 💕

Hello Vanessa! Ohhhh yes. The chocolate collection. I almost ate it each time! Haha. Yes. Not as creative as they used to be. Agreed. I guess everything had kind of been done already. They need to step back maybe and take a breath.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Agreed! I noticed in the Christmas palettes there was a bit of fallout but Too Faced has been removing Talc from their products so they don't look Ashy anymore. If I was on Too Faced I could give them creative ideas but all their palettes are just copying the same colors like in other palettes

This reminds me of the Huda Mercury Retrograde palette 🤔 maybe it’s that pop of teal blue?? The blush looks a lot prettier than I thought! I love that you show the colors outside in the sunshine!!
Hello Melanie and thank you so very very much. You are the second or third person who has mentioned mercury retrograde so that was an error to leave it out on my part. I wish I had brought it next to this palette but I don’t have it in my possession at the moment. I’ll need to get it back for comparison.

I think I wanna grab this blush now. I didn't realize the beauty sheen it had to it originally. I think I'll order that and their Diamond Fire highlighter. Seems stunning!

I found that strange too, the Ulta website had the blush & lipsticks on 12/12 and I ordered them and I had the palette saved as a favorite. Not long after I ordered it, they completely disappeared from the website. Then I got an email on 12/23 saying the palette was in stock but when I clicked the link it brought up a blank page. And it wasn't showing up anywhere! BUT it was still showing in my favorites with "add to bag" so I did and it took! It was $39 when I ordered it. Very very strange. I haven't played with the palette yet but I love your looks! The blush is so pretty but has a really funky smell to it.

I just want darker and darker blushes (in those tones, not hot pink) and then darker highlight too. We can call it our terracotta years!!!!! No no. The plum period.

Hello Alise! I just recently got back into too faced after years of not having anything from them. Before that, we’re talking way way long ago, I used to love them. Now I find them kind of a fun little break in between luxury purchases. This is not the best collection ever but it’s fun and it’s nice to have a little taste of spring in the dead of winter. You know I am reviewing the new Charlotte foundation!! I have two shades on order that should be here any time now. 😊

Happy New Year! Great review. The eye combo really came together in the end and looks beautiful. I’ve been passing on Too Faced for a while. I just think there are other brands of eye shadows that you don’t have to work so hard at to get the color pay off especially without all the fall out. You look beautiful by the way!

I saw this on Sephora yesterday, it definitely made it to my cart! I really love the way the blush looks, it has that gorgeous pinky-peach tone that I love. I'm not sure yet if I'll grab the eyeshadow palette, but I'll have that blush by week's end!😄
Hello Jessica! I agree with you. The blush is just gorgeous. I’m not a huge fan of the overspray but, I realize, that’s just for looks. But it really is the perfect shade of blush. It kind of incorporates apricot tones and pink tones into one. Makes it very very useful. the eyeshadow palette, on the other hand, might not be the most useful. It’s got those pretty bright shades but also a bunch of neutrals that we all have in other, better pallets, really.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Too Faced shadows are great for when you want to just throw something on to put a little color on your face without much effort. The Peach palette is still one of my all time favorites, even though I own hundreds of palettes. Most of the TF palettes I've bought ended up going to my daughters, so they can practice without looking too made up😊
@@Jess4mab that is the perfect comment, Jessica exactly. They are affordable. They are fun. We all have to stop and praise the peach and the chocolate. They are great for practice. They are great for color. They definitely have a place in our collections. I 100% agree with you and anything else is really just snobbery. Ha ha.

Hi Rebecca in Australia and in the Southern Hemisphere its actually Summer here and quite hot. We are opposite to your weather. I don't think this collection has come out here yet. The palette looks very pretty but the blush pan is huge. I definitely like the shimmer over the top of the eyeshadow look more.

I, of all people, always side with the Australians on the fact that you guys get such delayed makeup releases and here I go talking about seasons as if everyone has the same winter season and the same spring season. And I know better! I’m so sorry. I love my Australian viewers and did not mean to be insensitive! I think, of all the products, the cute little lipsticks, though not shockingly different, are really fun and that blush with its slight shimmer and huge pan is really quite quite pretty. The eyeshadow definitely needed the shimmer. I’m so glad I finally remembered because it changed the look.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty not insensitive at all, you probably do have more subscribers on your side of the world. The seasons don't influence my makeup colour choices much. I wear what I like anytime. The look was very pretty and I do get Naked Cyber vibes too.
@@carolynlindenmayer3577 it’s funny because in Southern California it is pretty much hot all the time. We have had some rain and slightly, for us, colder temperatures but, in reality, it’s a desert and so it’s hot all the time! And I get so sick of it. How are your seasons when it is winter? Do you actually get much cooler temperatures in your area? All of a sudden I’m like a meteorologist over here! Ha ha. People are telling me this pallet is really, to them, more mercury retrograde from Huda than UD. That’s a good point.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I'm near the Coast in Queensland a couple of hours drive north of Brisbane if you are looking at a map and its fairly moderate here. We probably only have a couple of weeks of "cold" weather during winter. It gets cooler but not freezing. It really only gets cold in the Southern States and can snow on the Mountains, but I've never seen snow. I didn't get the Mercury Retrograde, but Huda's palettes are so expensive unless on sale. This Too Faced palette could be a cheaper alternative.

So learning more is actually quite enlightening and I appreciate it. Yes when you’re importing Huda it is going to get expensive so this is going to be a lot better on the pocketbook and a fun way to get those pastel colors.

I’m going to find @pinkspatkles comment on the last video and tell her you and I are thinking about her! Oh that dress sounds absolutely gorgeous. Not justification. Requirement. Obviously the dress requires the blush! The whole fashion being a cycle ahead is slightly outdated really. It’s still done so I should say that it should be outdated but isn’t. The whole thing about air conditioning stores in the summer so that people will want to try on the coats. Just sell them in the winter. Fashion cycles are definitely getting shorter but they’re still ahead of schedule and I’m not sure it’s something that works for today’s buyer. It’s not just me. there’s a lot of speculation about that.

I am not going anywhere, except for absolutely necessary things like taking my car for a smog test. Had to be done or else!! Wow, cranking the air conditioner so people want to try on coats. I must be weird, because I don’t want to try on clothes for the next season. I guarantee you: when this dress arrives, I will hold it in the air in front of me and look at it. I can tell if it will fit, and I will not try it on. I will not take off my fleece!! 😂 Now, there are 10,000 problematic things with this line of thinking. I know that. The dress may be very unflattering. It may make me look like a wine barrel. It may just be blah-fitting all over, but I don’t care. When it stops raining and it becomes more dress-like weather, then (and only then) will I try it on. Why did you buy it then????? It makes no sense. That’s exactly why the blush needs to match it. Wow! Haven’t seen anything from Too Faced in a long time and I see why🤣 They really have zero innovation and rely mostly on cutesy names but that is all they offer. However, when they have fantastic products, they move them out to be replaced with garbage. Someone mentioned on this post about bringing back their peach matte line, which was fantastic!! They can’t continue to rely on their name alone to sell products. They need to deliver.
Did you see the other comment that said that somebody needs to storm their office and take away all the hot pink from everyone who works there! Hilarious.

I really enjoy your review of this collection. I think the blush is pretty; but the eye palette is too much of the same colors that are in all their palettes (most recently in their Holiday palettes).

Hello Carrie! It does seem, to me, like the scent of the face spray. They have this lovely kind of gentle scented spray for the face or the body and, yes, I tried it in the store but they were out of samples, darn it, so I can’t test my memory at home. But yes, I do remember they are the same, so it’s a Camellia thing.
I’m so on the fence about this one. I love how the colours look in the pan but I’m worried they’ll look lack lustre on the eye.
Hello Johanna! For me, this palette is pretty but they make better ones. I like the shades in here but, honestly, the only issue I have with this is the scent. It’s weirdly floral and doesn’t really go away. But I have used it many many times and I find the color payoff to be very pretty but not bold. It’s much softer than it appears in the palette. Which might be a bad thing depending upon what you are looking for in it.

I was on the fence with this one but as I watched you the blue reminded me that I have the first PMG Bridgerton palette (which I haven't used yet - I know I know!) has a blue in it. - granted a topper but still blue. Which is not a color I really use since typically it makes me look bruised. Since this palette was kinda underwhelming (I am used to building up shadows - I see you Lancome) and I have all the neutral shades at least 10 times over! I think this is a pass for me and when I first saw it I was like YES but now I am eh...lol Thank you for the review!!
Hello Kathie! I totally agree with you. The PML palette is much better. I like too faced but the scent on this one is too much. Too floral. So you chose correctly.

It is hot🔥 here in oz but seasonal releases are meaningless as we just have to roll with whatever comes out. It does get a little amusing seeing all the IG comments whenever the northern hemisphere does not step in time. I can’t help but wonder if the pandemic played a part in the release time. Thanks for mentioning the floral smell - I own most TF palettes but I am allergic to rose and lavender so floral is a no go at all. I find the scents are getting stronger and worse lately like the cinnamon smells weird so hopefully it isn’t a trend. I do think they missed the opportunity to put in some more varied shades (but still soft) as there seems to be too much pink along with the usual neutrals. By this stage someone needs to ban the hot pink at TF headquarters!
Hello Amber! I am the one who always says Australians are left out of timely make up releases and then here I go assuming that all countries have the same season! And I know that Australia does not and still said it. My extreme apologies to you. I feel like it was insensitive even though I know you realize it was a mistake so I am very sorry. You know I love my Aussie friends! You had me laughing out loud at the thought of walking into too-faced headquarters, grabbing all of their hot pink and storming out with merely the words, “you’re not allowed to use this anymore!” It does feel like, with this release, they put in a few pastels and then added in a lot of safe neutrals. They should have amped it up a bit more but seemed, maybe, too scared? Interesting. And yes, the fragrances are getting a bit strange. This one was really far reaching and confusing.

It just made me smile as I was like I am melting, melting I tell you and for once I think we have a release reasonably close to our seasons. I have this huge grin on my face imagining corporate office saying on Wednesdays we wear pink or you can’t sit with us (she doesn’t even go here…..). Sorry I’m being silly but it seems like it is mandatory for TF to use pink in every palette. I don’t expect TF to move outside their comfort zone and style much but as a long time customer they can play it a little too safe. A green/gold and peach/orange duochromes or just a little something more diverse would have been nice.
I think you’re just entirely accurate. It does indeed become a sort of corporate culture of, well, hot pink safeness! Honestly. I think risk taking for any brand is easier when they’re going bucks. Hard to look at their huge offices and staff and take a risk, I bet.
The the shade really brought it from side walk chalk to eyeshadow lol. It made a huge difference. I’m haven’t gotten TF eyeshadows in so long. I’ll pass on this one
Veronica, best description ever. It’s totally sidewalk chalk. I’m honestly dying. I have a box of Crayola sidewalk chalk in the cabinet that my kids have their art stuff in and I’m dying it’s way too accurate.

I watch another review here on you tube and the influencer said that her eyes burned after she used the mascara of the collection and the palette and she cannot understand if this reaction was for the mascara or for the palette,but she think it's for the mascara. Hello Fabiana. You didn’t make any mistakes. Your English is perfect!!! Ok. This is a great question. It’s the eyeshadow not the mascara. I didn’t buy the mascara but I found that, on first application, the shadow has an almost cinnamon scent and feel to it. Kind of the way the spice would feel on the skin. It did not persist and I sort of wondered if it was just the scent that was making me feel as if it felt that way. It was an almost imperceptible tingle but it was there! And it was definitely from the shadow. I had no irritation on the eyes afterwards and have worn the palette repeatedly. There’s the tingle for a bit and then it disappears and hasn’t caused issues. I didn’t mention it because I actually thought I was imagining it until now, when I read your comment so I had to be honest with you.

Meh!! Too Faced just doesn't do it for me anymore. Especially after discovering brands like Natasha Denona or Tom Ford. The last few palette's I've bought turned out patchy on me. I am kinda interested in the lip in the shade "Too Femme" tho because that little heart in the core is adorable. And look at the top hat on Printcecy!! Too cute!! 🎩🎩🎩

There’s a new BTS perfume from Tom Ford? I saw something new on Instagram and the bottle looked gorgeous. I wonder if that was it? I have to check into this because I am especially obsessed by his fragrances, as you know and candles that say bougie on them. Ha ha. Yes, too faced are a kind of “fun” brand on the side when we are cheating on Natasha Pat and Charlotte. No one cheats on Tom Ford . Or he has your head taken off. So I have heard.
