Why not upgrade to an aluminator? I can’t imagine new OEM short block is that much cheaper then an aluminator short block. Plus you’ll be ready for boost in the future with a forged bottom end.
Aluminator is a lower compression block for boost. This car is going to be a max effort NA car. We just threw in a stock short block just to get it running again
@@lyxanderrojas8110 you could still run the 12:1 NA version of the aluminator which is still forged and run boost on it later on. Stock gen 3 is 12:1 and ppl boost those all day stock bottom end.

@@drakebuilt car can run for a few months even with something installed incorrectly maybe to tight etc. something went wrong however these coyotes don’t drop valves for no reason.
We never did any valve train work nor bottom end work, engine stayed together the entire time aside from cams which the cam cap bolts were still torqued to spec, therefore it literally just happened on its own
@@drakebuilt something went wrong during cam install then lol cams is messing with valve train component not directly but still messing with it. Again something was installed or done incorrectly during cam procedure for this to have happened.
Don’t understand the deal with people thinking it’s an Aluminator block. Personally I would’ve went that route if I was gonna buy a new short block. Killer video my guy!
