The place looks great. Makes me want to come over and sit by the stove, talking cars, smoking, and sipping black coffee. I don't even smoke! I don't live in Canada either!
Dear John Powell.
👍👌👏 Exactly what I was thinking too. Fortunately you already did all the writing work. 😁 ;-) I don't smoke, I don't live in Canada, I don't drink coffee (but tea), I don't wear caps (but hats) and I don't even drink beer. But as a petrolhead I would nevertheless love to sit there and talk gasoline. 😁
Best regards luck and health.
Thanks for checking in - I was afraid there may have been a tragic thresher incident at the tractor pull!
I love your place . Nothing better than hanging out in the garage and talking old cars !
Yeah I saw Matt running the old Rumely Oil Pull tractor. That was a cool show with lot's of cool old tractors
Shop is looking great, enjoy your channel.
The shop looks really authentic old school Matt l really like the hats looked good at the tractor pull too
The shop is really coming along. What step back in time. You fellows make the old seem new.
Love the new shelves and sale area. Like a trip back in time.
You guys ought to make up a calendar and sell it. Put your old cars on it. I’d buy one.
It was pretty cool to see you guys on the old tractors.
Nice improvements to the shop. Glad you're back in the saddle.
...hi Matt and Jim...you guys are fun to watch....I like the new storefront and looking forward to anything you 2 choose to post.....thanks......
Place is shaping up nicely! No supply chain issues here! 😆
Greetings Matt and Jim, All your hard work is paying off and showing, Thanks for update. Cheers from New York, wish I was closer...
I know you guys been busy I seen you guys on Cold war motors at the tractor show I figured you guys got some footage of you guys being there and then she'll get to put up you guys are pretty busy got yourselves all over the place don't mind taking time to get videos put out enjoy them and thank you for all the hard work you put in them
The shelves look like they have always been their.
What a great display of vintage parts. I've got a few like that of my own but need a nice big building like you guys have.
What an awesome place. Happy to see the channel grow.
Sherman, set the Wayback Machine for Strong's Garage. Looking good, Gentlemen. Rock on.
I love your vintage garage….getting better and better as time goes by….Gonna be a “vacation destination”…eh!!!!!!
Before long you'll need an entire parts department, not just shelves in the main office. That gate in between the buildings looks great.
Nice to see you back..Cool what you've got done, your addons are looking pretty cool like the signs in the shop..
A friend of mine use to say, "Life is a shit sandwich, the more bread you have, the less you taste the shit." I haven't seen my friend in a while, so I can't testify to whether his philosophy works or not. You were talking about winter hats and long johns, and it was 115° on my deck today, it was like living on the sun. Your shop is looking very nice and the work you do looks very high quality. Cheers from KCMO
That's of course Fahrenheit , if it were Celsius I would vaporize, possibly, or maybe turn into a big lump of goo.
So nice to see you back! Congrats on the new storefront!
Those shelves look great, especially loaded up with vintage parts.
looks really nice now--thank you for sharing--glad you are back
Glad you are back on the airwaves. It was great to see you plowing with the Rumely.
I was hoping for a longer video, but it’s great to see all the updates in the store! It would be great if you sold items like coffee mugs, t shirts and the like too!
It's great to see those shelves go to a good home! They look great.
You guys have the knack! Strong’s Garage looks utterly convincing, the shelving is a huge plus.
Good job on expanding your channel. CWM dropped the "S" word the other day. Not ready for winter here in the south. Supposed to be in the 90s for a while. Snow is no where in anyone's mind yet. Hang in there From Memphis
You have a great business plan. Wonderful collection of recycled antique materials. Best of luck to you going forward.
Do the best you can. It can't be easy to get it all done. That gate is real nice. Good job.
I bought a car from George’s estate sale. The 1980 Comuta-car.
Cool place. My uncle many decades ago bought a large concrete block shop building on what was old US 51 just south of Bloomington, IL (USA). It had the old gas pumps out front still and the 1920's wiring inside. Perfact place to do what you guys are doing. He did classic autobody work (beat it out and lead it) for years along with antique car restoration until he went into the eternal garage sale/flee market business until he died in 1989. I wish I could have had that shop.
Oh man I definitely am planning on stopping in for a visit. Ill have to look around my pile of stuff I've had forever and see if I can make a contribution to your enterprise. You're building a beautiful museum of sorts. There's nothing else like it around anywhere.
Looking really great guys!
Thanks for bringing all the equipment out to the SVTA tractor pull, that's a ton of work and it's greatly appreciated!
Good to see you guys and the store taking shape.
I did notice you at the tractor show.
Boyz ya looking sharpe and busy 🏴☠️🏁💪👍🏻
Very nice setup. I like the rolls of plug wire and the item organization on the shelves.
Good to see you have security ironed out...The shelves and merchandise look great.Really looks like stepping back 70 years into a local shop anywhere. The tractors and plow were great to see. Thanks for sharing everything you can with us.
The shop is looking really good. Will be awesome to see it done. I lived near a restaurant that is like your shop just like stepping back in time. Too bad it is closed now. Keep up the good work guys
The store looks great! Love what you guys are doing. Keep your sticks on the ice!
Great video you guys are really getting it together soon you will have your own parts business keep on going
Looks fantastic, gents! I'll be out for the full tour and shopping spree ASAP!
Just might have to come up for the "Open House" Grande Opening! (Hope you are contemplating one.)
You may need to shut the rest of the town down for the weekend, 'cause there is going to be a ton of traffic to your door! Guaranteed!!!
Glad to see you both again. The shop is coming along well too.
NICE!!!
Dear Strong's Garage boys.
👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! Maaan, what a place! The shop and garage looks better and better in every video. Congrats! I know that it has been a lot of work but it was definitely worth it. I absolutely appreciate your efforts. It's already a place where one can feel himself comfortable. After the shop is completely done, it will be an even greater joy for every visitor (and not only for car enthusiasts). By the way: It's nice to see Mr. Archbolds period correct shelves put in good use again. The old NOS parts look really good up there. Is the stove new in your shop also? Is it functional?
Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and health to all involved people.
Post Scriptum: The only thing that definitely still not fits in, is the one modern baseball cap. Of course I'm just teasing a little bit. 😁😜👅😘
Excellent video! Thank you for it. Hey, in lieu of your Yard Stick, you could tack in some brass tacks at measured distances to the top of that cabinet beneath your Wiring Department 😉 then you could "get down to brass tacks" as the transactional idiom goes 🤔😉
I love the shelves behind the counter! It adds so much character to your beginning video. Wow! I love the new signs and especially the gate as well! You've been busy.
The place is looking great, look forward to anything you post, just for this show I think Jim also needs a vintage hat
Welcome back. Good luck with the store- I think you can sell out quickly on the interwebs, so if you're going to do service ...
Thanks for bringing us up to date 😎
You need a Strong's garage T-shirt section
Looks Great guys ! Stop apologizing , you are busy . We are sitting back watching
Nice new stuff guys, love the channel. You can add a nice 1970's New York City touch to that gate by topping it with razor wire. Very effective, ask me how I know.
The place is lookin' good. That's a great cap.
You have the garage looking really good.
You got a great collection of NOS parts I have a couple Varcon NOS spark plugs I found in my great grandfathers garage back in the day and a couple buzz coils. At the time I did not know what they were I thought they were train related because my great grandfather worked for the railway In Chatham Ontario but I found out they were buzz coils for a Model T so it was cool I have them sitting on a shelve in my mans room.
Your shop looks fantastic!
That gate! Everything! Amazing. Please keep up the great work.
If I squint it's 1937 in this shop.... Thanks guys for a trip.into the past as I always imagined it.. Cheers!
Looking great guys! Thanks for posting
love the new decor, and of course, the hat..now lets hope Dean does stumble drunkenly into the shelves and bring them down in splinters..
Awesome! You're gonna do great!
It looked great, the shelves are excellent, yous did a great job at the tractor show, it's great your getting it all looking great, thanks for the video, all the best to yous and your loved ones
It was nice to see Alex old shelves again, good job gays.
Did I just hear Jim say "eminence front"!? And to think all this time I though it was just a song by The Who...😎
I love everything about the showroom.
Another fine episode, thanks Matt and Jim. What you're doing is absolutely wonderful and I'm cheering you on from Australia.
The sound is awesome thanks
I remember a garage in my home town like this! Great memories for sure! From Sussex N.B.
1st wow!
You could go full retail pretty soon!
Lads, to build your site you gotta film everything. We are interested in anything garage and cars. Putting up the shelves working on any cars. Get a couple cheap cams turn them on a film everything then edit later. Always tune in to see whats happening. I think I talk for most of us we ain't looking for TV production. Just want to see everything car and garage related. Great channel keep up the great work.
Very cool.
Have you guys ever watched the Iron Trap Garage UA-cam channel? I goes all over the country and finds old parts. This week he found a old Oldsmobile Speed parts.
Yea I seen you guys on coldwarmotors at the tractor show. You guys have a lot of neat old equipment 👍I also have some old equipment and have been going to the local tractor show here in Jones MI since I was young. My dad got me into it and enjoy going every year. Keep up the good work guys 👍
The cloth cap you were wearing is a dead ringer for one my Uncle Al wore back in the day Now that I'm and old plug, I wish I could find a repro.Cheers !
Is that a Remington cash register? You can still find old NCR registers kicking around. How about car radio vibrators?
Looki8ng great Gents......how does one get a hold of you to trade, buy or supply NOS parts?
Oh ya n Also get ahold of Mr.GoodPliers n he goes to Auctions n can get alot of parts too ok
A good Canadian video always starts with an apology. 😁
Sorry about that, Randahl....
Like the shop vibe. Looking good!
Trouble with factory finish is that it is inconsistent, you might get a Friday afternoon model🤔
Uh, you guys can't hide in one of Scott's videos...been in too many of them! The rest of the Alberta UA-cam "mafia" will love having a place to buy ancient parts!
Looks great and love ❤️ your videos
Ding ding YEAH!!
I hope you guys have a call for service ringer or plan on getting one. I know they aren't cheap. (the kind that rings when you drive over the rubber hose in the driveway) I have so many good memories of stopping and getting gas with my dad. It took me a long time to figure out what made that thing ring LOL
You guys are cool....😎😎 ...i like you guys,,🙂
Love you guys videos 😊
You guys need to get ahold of Matt at IRON TRAP GARAGE n he finds all kinds of NOS parts n Antquie Car Parts ok n knows alot of people ok
The store's looking good, chuck a mattress on the floor and get yourselves on airbnb as a "character" stay
I get a kick out of your back wall with all those old parts. I once ran into a wrecker in Williams Lake ! Broke a centre dump manifold.. On the 71 monte st. Car. This guy volenteers his Grandpas wrecking Yd Wow this guy had parts to cry for His Grandpa used to by out gas stations that went broke from 19' to 56 '' these parts were worth millions!!! An oit fit from MInnesota bought them for millions ! But the point was we needed the rite side manifold ! Best stock manifolds ever we modified the rules like Smokey Yunick Yahoo
Oopsie daisy, I fell off the wagon.
What a wonderful place you guys have there! My apologies because this could be a dumb question but what are “Frost Shields”?
Awesome shop! Don't you mean a meter stick?
New camera?
Love your Channel ! Do you have merchandise? Where do I find that? ...Newk from Kentucky
Now I know what Bob and Doug McKensie do for work these days 😂
