Nice video! My goal for next year is to take my art more serious. I always wanted to sell my art someday but don’t have enough space to have products at home. I like that gelato has a production facility in my own country. So even though it’s a sponsored video I thank you for the tip😊 So if I connect a store to Gelato are the orders placed automatically in gelato? What online payment options does gelato offer? Mostly curious if they offer a payment method that’s not PayPal. Not a big fan of PayPal. I don’t know if you already have a video but I would love to know how you go about making your watercolor pieces digital and ready for print. Like, how do you deal with paper texture etc?
Hey Rebecca!! Thank you for all the questions ❤ gelato connects directly from your online shop whether that’s Squarespace Etsy, wix etc, you have to verify that you want to connect then you can add a product on gelato and it will automatically appear on your shop (Etsy, wix, Squarespace etc) for me it appeared as a draft and then I had to switch it to “live” on my Squarespace, after the orders automatically appear in gelato. Once the order comes through on gelato you then pay for the product, I use a card so having a PayPal is not necessary at all! If connecting doesn’t work for some reason you can also transfer the shipping details from your shop back end and order the product on gelato to ship to your customer (I did this one in the beginning) Hope that all makes sense! I do have a video on how I digitalise my art it’s just at the beginning of “my BIGGEST SHOP UPDATE” video ❤❤wishing you all the best for your art shop!!!
This video was sooo helpful. Thanks Chantal ! Also I thinkkk the gain on your mic is a little too high (saturation when you speak too closely to it) , usually you can adjust this problem in post prod, in whichever DAW you work. Hope this helps ! Much love
@@Smiley-k3 ahhh thank you 🙏 🫶 yes I hope this video covers lots of little nuances and things you don’t usually think about when opening an art shop!! Xx
