This is one of those songs you know that makes you feel a really weird way that you can't explain, but this one.. is extremely uncomfortable to listen to, like it triggers nostalgia for things that never happened and my brain cant deal with that fact
3 years ago.... I was 18 years old student. My life was simple but...you know some stupid problems and opinions. One day... 7 days after my prom, the after party took place 18km from my home.... I was mad at the whole world. Because I had got driving license but i didnt have any car. I closed myself in and music was everything what I had. I left from home at 8 o clock and journey took about 4 hours. That was the most amazing walk in my life. I was absolutely alone with my music. Teperature outside was about -7 degeres. Sky was clear and i saw lot of stars. This song was the firts in my playlist. Every time when i hear this song Im at that moment 3 years ago....THX

This song is strangely perfect. It evokes an emotion I can’t quite explain, but driving down a freeway in the dead of night, in light rain is the closest I’m going to get.
I dunno why but this reminds me of being up in that time of the day where the sky is at twilight or before sun rise and loving the mixture of darkness and light in a single time of evening to night and night to morning
not only did we Need a 1 hour Version, we need remixes of this song and Extended and 1 hour versions of this remixes so that i can listen Hours of this in lots of varietys
I came here from a terrorwave video which was focused on war aesthetics, using clips from the IRA conflict. I have to say that the author has chosen the perfect track - it captures this sort of hopeless melancholy. And that melancholy reminds you that even though times have changed, war hasn't. It never ends, really, and never changes. Things tend to change but in their core, they stay all the same. Conflict will exist as long as we exist. People will want their independence. People will want power. People will hate other people solely for their religion, ethnicity or political beliefs. And those things are bound to always stir up conflict - and then war. I am thankful for the peaceful life that I have lead so far, but I know that this can change at any given time. I realize that people, innocent people, die at the hands of warmongers and power-hungry leaders, every single day, in many places. And it fills me with dread and this feeling of helplessness. I'm but a weak individual who will never be able to help those people; save those lives; stop those wars. As George Santayana said: "Only the dead have seen the end of war."
This makes me feel calm and uneasy at the same time. Also what a perfect time to find this song (if you're reading in the future i found this a few day before halloween)
This gives me a... feeling, i'm quite young so I dont feel the nostalgia, but I feel something, I cant really describe it, some notes are more happy like on a neon highway riding whilst the rain comes down, like an 80's feeling, but other notes just dont fit. I think its very similar to Home - Resonance, but that gave different vibes about the same feeling with all the different cords. These cords, however, are all in different feelings, some creepy, joyful, weird, happy. Its a very unique song like Home - Resonance.
You're quite well-spoken for a young person like yourself, reminds me of how I was. Remember, treat everyday as if it's your last and don't waste a day. Hang out with friends, find a hobby, just enjoy the little time you have left to be young.
this song gives a non existent nostalgic feeling, as if you're walking alone in a cyberpunk city on a cold summer night with puddles reflecting the lights
@@revtheobbyist some others here have likened it to terrorwave and reminiscent of war, but it's probably a matter of perception... to me, i love the retro, gamer, 8-bit-esque nature of the song - almost like a different perception of nostalgia (similar to the 'nostalgia' feel in resonance by home)
@@12thirtyfourthe reason its reminiscent to war is because this music feels like a winroom after an obstacle course or boss so hard its literally traumatizing, atleast thats what i think, if you have any other explanation please tell me.
i can imagine this being in a movie. someone driving home alone in the middle of the night after a massive argument having lost all their relationships with friends but they already saw it coming so they’re kinda just numb, driving with a small smile as if they’re planning on revenge
Why can I visualize this so well. It feels like they're just about to snap and they are totally ok with it. I can just imagine them smiling wide with streetlights passing by.
I feel like listening to my dad talk abt his childhood in the 80s was the last time life and earth was real. Like he lived in a time that was simple relatable. His stories abt buying cars, going to the candy shop in small town north dakota. This song makes me feel the longing to live then and stay their just one or two days, even as a ghost or a by stander
I could listen to this forever. It's everything I need; a bitter reminiscence of a hopeful tomorrow, the sweetness of love lost, and the burn of peacefully passing in the snow... I've never felt a song cut so deep, nor ring my bones quite so sweet.
Sounds interesting, and chilling actually, I like it. I think, for myself, that this song is just something that would play in a retro/adventure game, maybe with a slight bit of horror, but nothing more. Else it's a great song!
It's like you're walking in a church in the middle of the night, or a cemetery. Or just in a cold cold foggy lake in a boat.... You look up, you see the stars.
