Also remember not to use this product every single day. Use it 2-3 times max a week. And it makes your skin more susceptible to getting sun burns so ensure you’re putting on sunscreen. All in all everyone’s skin is different and I’ve heard of people who have had bad reaction to using this product. Ensure you do a patch test and if you notice any discomfort, burning, tingling, rash etc discontinue immediately!!
@TheDevilDarling oh that's good to hear. I have dry/peeling/flaky face skin that I may try this on. Do you use it 1-2 times a week, do you let it sit on your face for a little or just enough time to massage it in then rinse w water and a towel after to sluf off the peeling skin?
@fannyasilberman7373 I use it every 2 days. If you're using this specific glycolic acid toner you just put some on a cotton pad and swipe it around your face, no need to wash off. Make sure your face is dry first and wait a couple of minutes afterwards before you go in with a serum or moisturiser 🤗 if glycolic acid doesn't work for you a salicylic acid or lactic acid might.
I used to have that same problem. I think my skin barrier was impaired from over exfoliating it. I was using other exfoliating acids like a SA cleansers and harshly rubbing my face. But after healing my skin barrier and only using one treatment at a time I found that this product doesn't tingle anymore and it has helped my skin texture a lot.
To reassure anyone this works. It’s Sunday for me now and I bought this Wednesday. I put it on my face (specifically only on the dark spots that I had not my entire face) and it peeled my dark spots out 3 days later. I used in the evening only (because it’s sensitive during the day, it even says it on the package). I used for 3 days and each day I saw a small skin coming off because a new skin was forming. Don’t peel it, just wait until more skin comes off. This worked. Don’t over use this and don’t put it on unnecessary places where you don’t have an issue. Put it on a specific area or spot because this thing is very strong!
Thank you for your comment. I was wondering if it helps with dark scars from acne and hyperpigmentation? I have some in my chest and back. Thanks for the reply
@@m.xhdd.x I used it for my hyperpigmentation. I’m black so my spots are dark and pretty visible. I put a little bit on the top of my finger and went over each dark spot. It could work for acne scars, but definitely do some research to be a 100% certain.

Hi! I would avoid using those at the same time. You could use glycolic acid at night and the niacinamide serum during the day if you still want to use them both but it's probably best not to layer them.
Yes, u can. Best time to use glycolic acid is during night time, as it may make your skin sensitive due to sun exposure. Always use a sunscreen after if u are planning to use it during morning/day time, though. If u want to use it together with niacinamide as your night skincare routine, apply the glycolic acid first, and then WAIT about 30 mins. After that, u can then apply ur niacinamide (and then retinol) - Niacinamide and retinol have similar PH levels, so they can be used at the same time - then wait for about 2 -3 mins before applying your moisturizer as the last step to seal in all the goodness on your face. :) Love, from S.Korea ❤️
It so strong , it’s sting my skin immediately. I have to rush out to the bathroom and wash my face to calm it down. The sting still last about 5 minutes after I was my face. I don’t know if the percentage is too high for my skin. 😢
Hi! I have lot's of acne and I bought this ordinary toner, can I use this with CeraVe Acne Foaming Cleanser? it has 4% benzoyl peroxide and CeraVe Acne Control Gel it has 2% Salicylic Acid as well as my moisturizing lotion that has niacinamide.
Hi! It's best to avoid using benzoyl peroxide with acids like glycolic acid and salicylic acid just because combining them can cause irritation. I'd stick to using maybe one active ingredient and keep the rest of your products super gentle so that it doesn't upset your skin, especially since you're dealing with acne. Using benzoyl peroxide with niacinamide is totally fine though!
No, it's best to avoid using glycolic acid and retinol in the same routine because they're both very strong ingredients. However, you could use one in the morning (glycolic acid) and the other (retinol) at night if you did want to have them both in your routine, just don't use one directly after the other.
That's a good question! I want to say it just smells like glycolic acid but that's very unhelpful. 😂 It doesn't have much of a scent really. There's no added fragrance or anything.
@@cinderelladiaries3686personally, i bought it to use on the armpits due to hormonal hyperpigmentation. Ive seen a lot of hype for this product regarding fixing uneven skin tone and lightening armpits, unfortunately it didnt work for me. If you have uneven skin texture/bumpy skin like kp for example, i do think it can help a little though. But for uneven skin tone?..hm. I think it very much depends on what the cause of your uneven skin tone is - that will determine the outcome for this product. If it’s caused by hormonal issues then sadly I dont recommend this. But everyone’s different so it’s always worth a try.

Want something to avoid razor bumps coming on the legs..very irritating
I'd love to know if this can work for that!
Do not shave in opposite direction.
Always use new razor.
Shave with the help of aloevera.
Scrub once a week.
Always moisturize after shaving.
I like using this for my hair and using a moisturizer if I'm using it on my face or body, I felt like it worsened my skin barrier tbh
