Pretty sure they are all Disney Renaissance Villains. That's how The Great 7 was chosen.

Without spoiling it, as far as I know from playing the game, you’ll see more of Riddle and the others in future volumes. How often you’ll see each one varies. I don’t think we’ll see the same MC for each part (ie Book of Savanaclaw, Book of Octavinelle, etc.). That’s because there’s a different MC for each one. It wouldn’t make sense to see 2 or more different Yuus interacting with each other. There in their own realities, or adaptations. Each is different from the other. It is likely because the MC/Yuu is whomever you want them to be. It can be a self insert or a character you make up yourself. Many fans like to make up their own characters that’s not them at all, with their own designs, personalities, and whichever gender they want regardless of the fact that they’re in an all boys boarding school that teaches magic.
I’d say definitely check out the story of both the game and the manga. You can look up videos here on UA-cam of chapters of the main story and events. You can even compare the differences made in the story between the original source and the manga adaptation if you like. You don’t have to play the game to enjoy it. I started off watching someone playing Twisted Wonderland when it was first released in Japan. The story itself is great 👍
It’s been announced that there will also be an anime that will so far be on Disney+ in various parts of Asia so far, including Japan. Unfortunately, it was never announced if or when it would come to anywhere else around the world, let alone the US. Nor is there an official date for the Japanese version. It’s been since 2022 that the anime was announced. Fingers crossed that there will be news about it or even a release date during 2025 for everywhere else aside from Asia.
Also, it was first released in 2020 in Japan only. Yana Toboso not only designed the characters but also writes the story for the game. If you’ve read or watched any part of Black Butler for at least a few volumes or so, you’ll recognize how she writes her stories and characters in that series applies to Twisted Wonderland, but to a much lesser extent. It is a Disney game after all, so she needs to keep it clean and not too messed up. There shouldn’t be anymore villains that would be added to who’s referred to as “The Great Seven” or in the overall main story. However, lately we’ve been seeing a bit more characters inspired by other villains for the Halloween events from the past two years. For this year in Japan, he’s not a villain, but quickly started to have a fan base as soon as his design was revealed.

Little Bobby scrapped the 2022 idea of leaning more into 2D animation, he also seems to have scrapped of the idea of replacing his occidental writing team with more oriental writers as well (I imagine he is favor of AI). The reason for this was in 2023 he wanted to raise his annual salary to $31.6 million. He also fired a lot of workers to achieve this.
I'm not a fan of the guy. The only one of Little Bobby's decisions I like (off the top of my head) is that he hired Yana Toboso.
