with your video and Andreas Spiess's video from sunday, i think usage of dual core will take off.. thanks for the video!!

Yes, have to seen his excellent video too, so have tried to include only some add-ons.

Most popular tests are bubble sort, fractal render, FFT,FIR,AES,ZIP,H264 and important to know random memory read/write time.

    Hello @pcbreflux,
    Thank you for the video.
During the video, you mentioned that it is not a good idea to try to run the Wi-Fi functionalities on Core 0 and the rest of the functionalities on Core 1. Can you please argument that? Is there a prefered core for the Wi-Fi and a prefered for non-wifi?
Which source do you use for information about the ESP PRO and APP cores?
    Please share your opinion!
    Regards

Reviews requested - UA-cam claims this video is ... "Not suitable for most advertisers". What's your opinion?

pcbreflux - No clue why that would be. I see nothing offensive or otherwise disturbing. UA-cam works in mysterious ways... Do you have this ad-rating on more videos or is this the first?

Is this rating/opinion important for you?
I prefer real content over jokes or silly stuff.

klassich D Hi, think all channels suffer from bad ratings and if youtube thinks the contents is not valuable then there is no recommendation on other videos that's about 40% of my views. Today it's not relevant for me if the revenue is $0, $1 or $1.50 per video but maybe in the future I cold do more real content.

Many UA-cam creators have been complaining about the same problems you are, big names to small. UA-cam has some problems.

Nicholas Thon Thanks, until this video all my videos have been flag, so UA-cam is still testing their algorithms.

Maybe a bit late to comment, but the ESP32 can run at 240MHz and in this test it ran on 80MHz, according to the Arduino status bar. Don't know if it makes any difference in GPIO switching speed, but it makes a huge difference in any other calculations.

is the dual-core ESP32S better than ESP 8266

    • @pcbreflux

Raphael Larbi Short answer: it's different. Higher in price, bigger footprint, less distributed, fewer projects - v.s. - faster, claimed to be more stable, supports Bluetooth and hardware encryption, low power co processor, additional GPIO pins, newer hardware revisions and more.

how about compare to "m0" samd21 devices ?

How about a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F Processor? Have some nRF52840 boards (www.nordicsemi.com/eng/Products/nRF52840) but not yet use them in the Arduino IDE, can do some research.
