We didn’t sell a single boat at the last show and then the Ukraine war happened and we got no support from Boat Life whatsoever. We spent almost 30,000 on a stand alone and the follow up marketing was absolute rubbish ironic as that was what we were sold on. “ Boat Life isn’t just the show it’s the whole experience and following the story beyond.” Well that never happen!!! We moved heaven and earth to get in the new 700 model from Ukraine for the show and only had one person at the press launch during the show. You think there being a war would make a great follow up story as the company is managing to build RIBs despite being located in Kiev! The reports I have had back from fellow exhibitors is that the show was very quiet yet again this year and many of them said they won’t be attending next year.
@@robatlanticyachts9046 That's a shame. I went last year and noticed your stand and out of the Aluminium hull Ribs on show yours looked the best built. The show was better this year but I dare say consumer confidence is at rock bottom at the moment. I think the show is well placed both geographically and it's before the season starts, when the weather is as such we aren't out on the water but starting to get ready for a new season. Like all new things they often take a while to get established but if exhibitor's start to pull out ( understandably) then I don't think the show will survive....and that would be a shame for all of us. Best of luck to you....nice kit.
How come you guy's weren't showing at this year's Boatlife show nec ? The show was much better this year.
