Hopefully they need the line frequency to 15 minutes. Imagine from College to Downtown Berkeley BART having a bus coming a 7 minutes (approximately). That is going to be a huge game chager for transit in the southside.
Given it runs along college avenue alongside the 51B, intersects with major bus lines as mentioned and goes essentially from a busy Amtrak station to a BART interurban/extended county service transit center, I think the 7 line extension will become a mainstay, though they’ll need to probably eventually order some of those short wheelbase Gillig buses given how twisty turny the Arlington stretch is

Oddly, since the time I filmed they did start to use some of the "normal-sized" Gilligs on this route!
