  • Be careful for spoilers if you didn't read this issue yet. Because I accidentally added some "after credits" that were not part of the plan.
And be sure to read or check out issue 1, 2 that will be part of a seperate playlist:
    • Cinder and Ashe (1988)
Copyright goes to the rightful owners. This is for educational purposes under the principles of fair use.
Synopsis: "The truth about Lacey revealed - now Cinder needs Ashe more than ever. While the latter experiences more flashbacks to Cinder and Ashe in Vietnam during the Vietnam War and the fall of Saigon in 1975 when the Vietcong finally reunited the country under communist rulership"
Source: League of comicsgeeks and GCD
Final verdict: 78/100. Not as good as the previous 2 issues. Some minor inconsistencies in colouring and some of the writing is not on the same level as issue 2 (but that's normal). Nevertheless it is a nice in between issue that builds up towards the ending. So if they continue like this. The whole series while get a really good final verdict at the end of the review of issue 4.

By the way, I appreciate your chosen background music (BGM) for your reviews of this miniseries. It's suitable to Cinder & Ashe and a track that I don't think I've heard used by anybody else whom I pay attention to.
Hah, the CIA has existed since before WWII and has always been nothing BUT “unlikeable” to put it exceptionally mildly, with an international reputation for such. Since that's the hubris of that lead public agency that runs governments increasingly out in the open from within the shadows.
“A quoi bon?” in this case translates to “for what good?” or “what use is it?”
The expression on Cinder's face when she says “he was”, regarding Congressman Harrison Wayne being “untouchable”. Ah, the naïveté and how times have changed (as well as, stayed same).
Still interesting and still an overall very well-done, mature limited series. Here's some gratitude for your video reviews, AJ. Take care, stay warm, have a great day.
