Years ago there was a TV show called “Herman’s Head”. William Ragsdale was the star and there were four actors who played the different parts of his psyche (somewhat like an inner family) - intellect, anxiety, pleasure glutton and the no confrontational part.

For couples they focus on getting the protector parts to relax and stand - speak from self for your parts are wanting expressed. When people can do that you have a very different atmosphere.

I can’t afford a therapist. I need one though! But alas, no money. (Laid off & a widow & single mom…) however books! They Don’t cost much! No bad parts ❤️❤️❤️❤️!! And it is truly helping! And Pete walker’s book also was mind blowing! Bessel Van Derkolk (spelling) but Parts & I am doing tons of yoga lately & wow. Dick Schwartz book has helped me so much!! I am getting to know so many damn parts inside me in my 5th decade & finally feel like there is hope for my life time of food addiction or binge eating & it’s the first time in MY LIFE I am not filled with self hatred. Its brilliant. I THINK I am healing. I even feel like parts work is helping my adhd too & less dysregulated now, His book - Ifs videos on you tube… wow! Saving lives imo

Release parts from extreme roles they where forced into
Restoration of trust beteen the parts in self leadership.
A lot of these parts are like parentified children. - want to be in charge but not ready.
Seeing that there is a “you in there” to help the parts to relax
Then to DeGarmo I s the whole system.
    That’s individual.

Carl Jung identified The Self as both the centre and the circumference of the individual psyche 100 years ago...it is the cornerstone of Jung's psychological theory. Be nice to see that acknowledged in the evolution of new theory.

@@JaysonGaddis just curious here because not really sure what’s going on but you mentioned blame in relationship. Are we not to assume that in conflicts there is action reaction, cause and effect? BLAME (verb): consider someone or something responsible for something.
If we identify the action and what it caused then surely there is an inception to that and considering someone responsible for that action is apparently wrong?
