It was an integral part of the car culture... Big Willie Robinson our President gave us all a place to go, lowriders and us street racers.... We carry on his legacy and still active... Long Live Big Willie and Tomiko Robinson's Brotherhood of Street Racers Organization Los Angeles....🤜🏼🤛🏼

Terminal Island had opened and closed several times and the lowriders was always present dating way back then. And the last time Terminal Island reopened Big Willie probably reached out to some of the new lowriders to get the word out to the lowrider community but lowriders has always been apart of Terminal Island since the 70’s and a lot of the Og’s was going back then and some even in the present. 😎 We all hung out at the street races together on Flourance and Main. These men are now in their 60’s,70’s,80’s and maybe some are still here in their 90’s.🙏🏾

I was just a youngster and was old enough to race there in the 90's..... I have a lot pictures from the 90's too.... If you'd like to do a segment I'd be willing to get some OG's together.... In our family we low ride and street race.... 🤜🏼🤛🏼
