    I recently rewatched the first two episodes and at first I didn’t care for Yord, but now I love his personality! Next time I go to a store I am so picking this up!
    I was very shocked when he was killed along with Jecki, I thought those two were making it out alive!

    Thanks for these reviews, and your positive attitude Hybrid! Gonna copy/paste this comment in an attempt to boost engagement.
    Like you, I’m loving the show, and would also rank it as my second favorite Disney+ SW property (behind Andor). I’m a big nerd for the High Republic publishing initiative, and I think the Acolyte has done well so far to bridge the gap between THR and the Prequels. These eras are my favorite to explore, primarily for their abundance of diverse Jedi characters. The character designs are instantly “toyetic” and exactly the kind of action figure I like to collect, and they will most def scratch my itch to have some High Republic representation on the shelf. Since Black Series High Republic figs are no longer a pipe-dream, I’m ready for Bell, Elzar, Ty, Gella, Burry, young Vern, Qort, Farzala, Zeen, and many more!!!
    I’m have yet to see any worthy criticism of the show that isn’t easily disputed by a better understanding of the lore or competent media literacy, i.e. patiently waiting for a serialized mystery to unravel, understanding that certain characters might have unspoken motivations, comprehension of moral ambiguity and the institutional fallibility of the Jedi Order. The entire prequel trilogy was this concept dialed to a 10, so I really have no clue how anyone with critical thinking skills can see this as a deviation from canon. They see a protagonist of color and lesbian space witches, completely shit their pants, then try to rationalize their bigoted views with vague and unsubstantiated claims about “bad writing.” (There was ONE glaring instance of bad writing that occurred in Ep 1 when Yord exposition dumped on us by describing Osha’s own past to her.)
    I’m not a droning shill who approves of anything Disney throws at us, and I appreciate being a discerning critic when it’s warranted (like for Obi Wan, Boba Fett, Mando, and Ahsoka). This is a unique and original story further outside the realm of nostalgia drivel that Disney-Lucasfilm has been known to default to, and for that reason it is super refreshing. The potential to tell new stories at a galaxy-wide scale has never been greater than in the High Republic Era, with the fate of each character completely fair game. Sorry to spew, but this show is doing a great job treading new ground while honoring the source material! So ready for the finale!

    Hey dude, thanks for a great review. I just picked up Yord today, and he has a red saber! Have you heard of any similar mistakes like this?

    I thought the show was terrible but I'll still buy most of the figures because they look decent

      That’s what I like to hear, as collectors, if the figures look good, who cares if the show is bad or good? People have the nerve to judge the figures because of all the hate the show got

      @matthewk4912 День тому

      The figures look awesome. But it all depends on what you like to collect. Some collectors only collect things tied to movies or shows they really enjoy. Others still buy figures for the figure if they look good enough.

      @@HybridToyReviews … twice… yeah sure… the only thing that make this figure collectible, is the moronic declarations of that actor. It has some value tho.

      So? What does him messing up star wars trivia in an interview have to do witb the quality of a show? It's legit unrelated what a dumb talking point

    I felt no connection with these characters, I knew all those jedi would get slaughtered and it didn't make me feel like I did when tech died
