This proves the reason why enterprise and engines has always been my favorite book when I was a kid because they have really great four stories. And escape is one of my favorite.
Personally prefer the bit of Little Western and the inclusion of Edward/Trevor in the TVS adaption but for the middle part prefer the RWS dialog with Isabel and the passing diesel.

This is how it could’ve been adapted without the bit from Little Western but what we got in the television series is great.
