Senior year in High School (2002) someone gave me a bootlegged version of Home Town Hero (Bruno's first signed band) and I was blown away with the energy and the in-your-face element of it all. Although, his second project, Under The Influence of Giants were more reserved and more soulful/groovy, it was great to finally see Aaron really make it big with Awolnation, and it's still got that "in-your-face" and straight forward style. Dude is a product of hard work and overcoming the odds via persistence.
Month ago, found 'Run' after keep hearing it in shock horror vid compilations, finally tracked it down, already loved 'Sail'... Imagine my surprise, same band. Watched a few live shows, heard other tunes I'm familiar with playing playlists... Bit of a fan now.
I could listen to him talk for hours!
