bro, I just watched your video back in 2010 and then I checked your channel. You are still talking about bed bug till this day, that's some dedication.
I agree with what you said about apartments. Apparently, my next door neighbor had bed bugs, and in April, I discovered we had them now. The pest tech has not been doing clover leaf inspections and is only treating my unit. We had to just wait in our hallway for 4 hours. Having my first experience with bed bugs have been even more traumatic due to covid 19.
Been there! TRUST God!!🙏 💞 He will help you stay in love 💕 during this time, and also, even have some humor about the whole thing too, which may take quite a while getting them all gone. But stay cheerful! 😊 God bless you & your family!!
Diatomaceous earth. Everywhere. Wear a dust mask at all times and prepare to deal with the dry skin . I used it in an old Victorian house with all sorts of hiding holes in the walks, floorboards etc. We had 4 compulsive hoarders where removing or cleaning all the piles of clothes, furniture etc everywhere was just too big of a job. Gassing the place wasn’t an option. There were hiding places and crevices everywhere. Just had to cover everything we could, the carpets and bedsheets particularly, then literally rolled around in it and were human bait.
Last year April, I found one died bedbug in my vacant room. I asked Teminix pest control company to inspect my house. It’s a town house. The inspector told me that my house don’t have any sign of bed bug, but there really have died one, so finally I did 2 treatment from them. There is no bite no sign before or after it! But last Friday, I saw one active in my kitchen, I always put my vacuum around there. I just used it. I thought maybe the bedbug climb from it! I called my neighbor who is a professional pest control worker, he checked out my house everywhere, including bed and sofa. He said no sign of it. But he help me spray all underlines for my house!
For now. I have two questions hope you have time to reply to me! Thank you! 1, is it possible the bugs hidden long time without any bit from people? Like right now, 8or 9 months pass, I still see it! 2, it is really can terminate ? Or hidden for long time ?
Luckily I haven't got the coronavirus. I have unfortunately did get bit over 100 times on my arms, back, legs sitting on a couch at someone's house.2020 blows
Delivered goods may prove to be an increased transport mechanism for BB. Independent drivers using personal vehicles, recycled, repurposed boxes could contribute as well.
Please help me I live in India and have a bedbug infestation in a bedroom they do come at night only not in day...I am getting my sleep disturbed a lot I am not feeling safe inside...and also it's a period of Covid-19 it's really getting worse😪
Can you seal up your mattresses, vacuum daily and dispose of the vacuum bag (or put it in ziploc bag and then freezer) and launder bedding every 2 days, all for about 3 weeks? Or steam and caulk all crevices?
I really find your content very useful. I am currently dealing with a small infestation in my room. Been dealing with this over 2 months now. I’m currently trying double sided carpet tape all over the walls & bed frame(Because it seems to be more stickier then regular tape). I’m also using all the treatment pesticides from Home Depot i can find. And also even trying the dog bowl with painters tape. And the soapy oil water on the bed frame legs. Haven’t seen any yet but i still feel they are around here. Can’t afford a exterminator. I’ve been sleeping in the living room. And just moved back in my room to find more bed bugs. I even got a new bed. Any idea what else i can do?
Jeff, are you sure bed bugs can't get covid-19? I was on quarantine a few years ago when a bedbug infestation was discovered in my apt and my landlord didn't want me spreading them to other apts. (And I didn't want to take them with me onto the bus, to church, grocery store, etc) There is a lot of similarity! I was laughing, talking with Jesus not long ago, and said to Him "Wow, Wouldn't it be neat if the bed bugs ate the virus!!" 🎶💃😁 They deserve each other! Seriously, God might give you some ideas to help 'exterminate' this virus!! And also, help to 'end the hysteria' without playing down at all how how tragic 😢😧 this 'very contagious' virus really is!! You helped me a lot over the years, and I know many others too!! God bless you all (including your family! 💕 ) Thank you!!
Could you make a video of what to do if you discover bed bugs in a home and apartment setting if you are unable to get a pest control professional to treat it due to Covid isolation, or restrictions?
You will have to treat them yourself. First off, get two good zippered bedbug mattress covers. One for the mattress, and one for the box spring. Other things you will need are an industrial sprayer, and a gallon or two of insecticide. I recommend one specific for bedbugs, or dexametherin. If you have cats, do not use permethrin, they can have serious health problems from it. Spray your mattress and box spring thoroughly, especially pay attention to the seams. Once sprayed, zip them up in the mattress cover tightly. Also, throw out your pillow, buy a new one, and use a bedbug pillow cover. Vacuum your whole room while your bed is dismantled, all cracks on the floor, wall, windows, and the bed frame. Spray the bed frame in the joints, and along the slats. Also spray the wall and door frame, both inside the room and out. Reassemble your bed, but leave the mattress standing. If your bedroom can be closed off from the rest of the house, place in two bedbug bombs, and let sit for at least three hours. Don’t forget to block the crack of the door with a towel. While your room is being treated, wash ALL of your sheets, pillowcases, curtains, clothes, etc.. Stuffed animals and unwashable down blankets can be saved if you throw them in a black plastic bag, seal it tight, and place it in your hot car in the sun during the summer, where it can get over 120°F. In winter, store them somewhere very cold until spring. What you are doing, is creating a clean room at this point, where you can sleep comfortably until you can spray or hot steam every nook and cranny in your place, and find and dispose of/spray infested furniture, carpets, etc. After your room is done, lay down Cimexa in the joints and cracks and around the legs of your bed frame, and along all the walls and electrical outlets. Reassemble your bed and room, and repeat the bombs in two weeks, preferably with a different brand of bombs. Also respray your outer rooms at this point, and vacuum again. One month later, inspect your mattress, box springs, and furniture for signs of bugs. Bomb your room once more for ultimate prevention, and spray and vacuum the outer room again. These little buggers are very hard to get rid of, and the process is extremely time consuming, but if you keep at it, you can beat them. And Cimexa is magic!

We were curious about what was happening in hotels with no or few people staying. Will it cause an increase or decrease?
