What an ELceptional soup! Also I heard that to have the least waste of a ginger you can use a spoon to scrape the skin off! just a little tip if your ever going to use ginger again :)

Looks good 👌, I was really rooting for that Parsnip soup to come out well. I always worry about adding too much ginger but guess you really rooted out that possibility 👍. Ngl though when I saw you grab the fancy sharp knife to cut the Onion I got flashbacks, looked way safer this time though, well done getting to the root of that problem. Sorry, I've really (lactose-free) milked that one I guess 😅

It's really eggciting to come up with food puns, I love to take a crack at them as I reckon im quite eggducated in joke making. They always make me eggstatic, especially when they are eggceptionally good you can tell someone’s really fried at their yoke.
I tried to grow parsnips last year, but i realsied i am a shit gardener, it was a root awakening

I don't comment a lot but one tip about the knife make sure to have one finger and thumb on the blade it will be much easy to cut it looked really good and would love to try but it's a great tip to have an easier way to cut no hate just don't want you cutting yourself that would not be good

If you put a damp paper towel on the chopping board when you cut onion you won't cry (in theory) because the onion fumes will go to the closest damp thing. Also are you and Scott roomates?

Looks soo good! With onion if you leave the end on so it all stays together (don't cut all the way through to the back) the sharper the knife the less you will cry and it can cut through the onion quickly rather than bruising and spraying the crying chemicals (its morning and my brain not working yet for fancy words) and to peel ginger using a spoon is easiest :D
