The hibernation period got very long. At the end of the long sleep, the famous sentimental Korean band NELL is back with the new regular album ‘C’. Nell is coming back for the first time after “Newton’s Apple’ that was released in early 2014. They are finally coming back after 2 years and 5 months. We can see how much passion and consideration they have put in to this album.
‘C’ is the first work they are releasing at their new company, ‘Space Bohemian’. It has Nell’s sentiment, where the mind is cool and the heart is hot. In this album, the topics are Chaos,Conflict, Confuse, Contradiction and much more. Through 2 years of time, these concepts have changed into individual songs, making one album in total.
冬眠が長くなった。そして、その長い眠りの終わりに、ついに待っていた感性シグネチャ韓国代表バンド‘ネル(NELL)’が、ニューアルバム『C』で帰ってきた。今回のアルバムは、2014年初めに発表した『Newton's Apple』以来、2年5ヶ月ぶりのアルバムで、短くない時間の間、アルバムのために注ぎ込んだ彼らの情熱と悩みの痕跡がそのまま盛り込まれている。
彼らだけの新しい巣である‘スペースボヘミアンラベル’の設立後披露する初の作品『C』は、頭は冷たく胸は熱く作業したNELLの感性がより固く集約されたアルバムで、Chaos、Conflict、Confuse、Contradictionなどのテーマで始まって、2年余りの時間を経る間、個別の曲に切り替え発展し、一つのアルバムとして仕上がった。
긴 겨울잠이 많이 길어졌다. 그리고 그 긴 잠의 끝에 드디어 기다리던 감성 시그니처 대한민국 국대 밴드 넬(NELL)이 새로운 정규앨범 ‘ C ’ 로 돌아왔다. 이번 앨범은 2014년 초에 발표된 “Newton’s Apple” 이후 2년 5개월 만의 앨범으로 짧지 않은 시간 동안 한 앨범을 위해 쏟아부은 그들의 열정과 고민의 흔적이 고스란히 담겨있다.
그들만의 새로운 보금자리인 스페이스보헤미안 레이블 설립 후 선보이는 첫 작품인 ‘C ’ 는, 머리는 차갑게 가슴은 뜨겁게 작업한, 넬의 감성이 더욱 단단하게 뭉쳐진 음반으로 Chaos, Conflict, Confuse, Contradiction 등의 주제로부터 시작되어 2년여의 시간을 거치는 동안 개별의 곡으로 전환, 발전되어 비로소 하나의 음반으로 완성이 되었다.

기억을 걷는 시간, 지구가 태양을 네 번, 멀어지다, 오션오브라이트, 백야, 1:03, 1분만 닥쳐줄래요 등등 진짜 너무 좋은데 이 곡이 제일 마음에 와닿네요 진짜

Certainly this group's catalog of work is as good or better than any current rock band that is popular internationally. Probably the only thing holding them back is that their releases are in Korean for the most part and it is very hard to make it on the international rock scene unless you sing in English and can do press in English. The thing is that they actually sing very well on their songs that are in English such as "Tokyo." I don't know how good their conversational English is though. Of course there is also the possibility that they prefer sticking to Korea and aren't really interested in trying to become a big international act unless it happens on its own. They may be quite comfortable making their music without a big international record company pressuring them. Their concerts do well, so they likely earn a good enough living that they aren't pressured to really expand beyond Korea.
Nell always have eargasm songs and the songs are all very meaningful . I just hope one day they'll be appreciated 🙏

Es demasiado triste que NELL no tenga el reconocimiento que se merece, es decir, toda su discografia es espectacular, cada una de sus canciones es arte.
Los conocí hace años y escucharlos nuevamente me genera un gran sentimiento de melancolía y añoranza por los años que ya pasaron.
Siguen vigentes quizas no sea lo que más se vea en la tele o que ganen premios pero siguen vigentes y se siguen escuchando así que creo que es lo especial de ellos y artista populares que si salen en la tele y demás son la muestra hacen covers o sus canciones son producidas por el vocalista de Nell el cual tiene su propio estilo

Yep. What the above user said. Nell is an indie-rock band consisting of 4 guys. The one who sings is Kim Jongwan. He writes and composes their music. They do lots of indie, lots of rock and lots of mixes in between. :)

Nell has a lot of great indie/rock/indie-rock songs. I personally became a fan through Infinite's Sunggyu who is probably Nell's #1 fanboy. Lol.
Nell and Infinite used to be in the same company, so Nell's Kim Jongwan wrote and composed Sunggyu's solo albums. So if you ever listen to Sunggyu's albums, they sound like Nell.
I recommend you check out some of Nell's older songs/albums/performances or watch some of the covers that idols have done (there are a lot). ^.^
