Saw Yothu Yindi many years ago at a music festival in Tampa, Florida. The crowd was mesmerized and wouldn’t let them leave the stage. They played a half-hour longer than they were supposed to. It was magical. ❤
Stopped in Sydney in 1995 while in the US Navy. Bought a CD that had a Yothu Yindi song on it. Still listening to this day.
He is a legend, ngarra Ku Mari, my mum's uncle, my father's rumaru, one blood.⭐💛✌️🤠⭐🙏

I was having a hard time recently I gave up God and that night I watch nitv and it was music that touched my soul I started to feel so happy through this special music from such a talented group I love my brothers and sisters of this land thank u for ur music and dream time stories ❤️ deadly and thanks for always being kind with calling me Ur sister to all u beautiful first people of Australia I feel privileged to live on Ur land
The grin that takes over my heart, my face... The warmth in my body EVERY time I watch this, hear it or remember it when in challenging time/s is undeniable. Such a gift eh 😁😊🌻🐦💚 I will forever be grateful for my brother and all who continue to provide knowledge for all 💥

RIP Dr Yunupingu. A true Aussie legend & a national treasure. Gone too soon. He did more to foster mutual respect & understanding between Aussies & the indigenous than anyone else. My heart weeps.

Obviously they're still not excepting us after the settlement of their forefathers made huge impact that we still feel it to this day we honestly try very hard live the right way. Thought Australia wasn't a racist country. It's sad bit it's true.
