maturing is realising that the 'no future' project, despite being criminally under the radar compared to his other projects and growth being affected due to the pandemic during release, it was a stepping stone towards a growth of appreciation over time into his newer sounds after vertigo and all his previous projects. he may have not liked the project overall, but in my opinion, it kinda helped led him to what he's able to put out now, expanding himself into a broader range of productivity and creativity after plenty of his tracks in No Future has grown on people over time compared to the first listen.
Well said! i implore anyone to do a full listen of the album again. Even if you don't find any of the individual songs remarkable, it all comes together beautifully.
No future is my go to for sleeping and relaxing I listen it back to end no problem I love it It did take a couple Of listens tho same as his latest one
eden music for me is always my favourite alternative from the mind-numbling, formulaic pop songs i dont get the hate around no future, and i actually adore it as much as vertigo, probably more because they sound more mature and grounded icymi (beside call me back) and recent releases have a lot of pop influence/beat/autotune i personally dont enjoy, but glad that he is willing to share the abandoned scraps which many of us might be looking for all these times
When i was in highschool i dont really like no future... but now i think no future is actually really good... shame on me i dont understand the lyric back then, its kinda show how immature iam at the time
i've loved hertz ever since the acoustic version that EDEN played live, and then it eventually became my favorite song on No Future, and i was curious about this version since he mentioned it on reddit. listening to it now and being able to cry the same way i cried with the official version is something i'll always be grateful for
Just watched Your Name for the first time last night. Re-listening to this song whilst watching your montage now understanding the plot made me hella emotional. New favourite EDEN gem 🤝🏼💯
on the AMA for No Future back in 2020, Jon said, 'sometimes ideas just stutter and die out and sometimes they turn into something completely different. the beat at the end of in was a full song (original format of hertz) that didn't work out'. this song was the version he was talking about. finally out on a book that he sold.
@@facesareblurredxwhich is crazy because this song is literally nothing like Hertz at all. From the beat, to the lyrics, to the song structure etc. He said it “turned into Hertz” but there’s no similarities at all imo
