I have done this job three times, now I know the pain and the best way. the first thing to remove is the cross bolt, the one that hold the mount with the bracket.
I paid someone to install the rear mount and they left bolts out and I cannot figure out what size attaches the mount to the engine? Do you have any clue what size bolt or where to buy them
Check that the new part matches exactly the one that was installed. As well, check that when supporting the engine with the jack, you're lining all correctly.
I've been looking for you or this video for too long, but now I see I was right 100%. I can't work front top, I have to go under. the top bolt for the bracket is a pain to remove and install.
Any idea why my Elantra 2008 doesn't have that nipple on top, but the front one has it? Why Hyundai make so many stupidities? Same with Kia, seems like their gray mass in the brain went white.
GOOD. You need to remove the engine bracket in other to remove the mount. I have done this twice. My Elantra 2008 is exactly like that, but my rear motor doesn't have the nipple, it's in the front mount. the space is damn too tight there.
I have replaced so many things looking for vibration and nothing so far can help me. Front mount is also hard to torque the bolt. Only the bottom one can be torque, but those two uppers are impossible. What is the torque for those four bolts under the mount? I think is 45 ft-lb right?
no place for torque, it's impossible for the bracket. I make the mistake of fitting the OEM old mounts with window-weld or lactide and the car Vibrate like crazy, so I put back the one I took that has only 3 years old.

The car looks so new, you must live where there's no snow and they don't salt the roads.
Gracias por tú video me ayudó bastante y así no tuve que pagar bastante dinero Gracias Bendiciones hy
My rear mount never was in that condition, WOW. Your was completely broken.

I put 303 aerospace protectant on those rubber and never have them broke, no in that way. I spray them in every oil change.
My bracket holes won’t line up now

@@Therustedalien did do that I noticed the new part is off by a little bit on the holes from the motor mount to the frame.

Sorry u lost me by actually not videoing or properly explaining the difficult and most important parts
Any one in Sydney that can change mine I’ll pay to go it

The torque is 36-47 lb-ft. You're right, these mounts are a pain in the a. I won't do it again unless I can use a hoist.

No easy to work down there for rear mount, and the front mount is better remove the fan.
Also, the stupid floor jack is in the middle.
