@@trevorfillingham7317 are we really that old? Lol. Yes, the cathedral is lovely, I was actually surprised how many classically styled churches there were in the city.
Nice video Brian. I loved that vintage caravan. It's also good seeing views of places I have not yet visited, such as Worcester, and your video makes great little tourism advert. Thanks.
The latest thinking is that Pine Martins, which are extending their ranges, target grey squirrels who haven't lived alongside Pine Martins. This then leads to Red Squirrels coming back into the territories that the Pine Martins have cleared. As Red Squirrels have coexisted alongside Pine Martins they don't seem to suffer from the same levels of predation as Greys. I'm hoping to photograph a wild Pine Martin in the West Midlands one day.
Love squirrels, purely, I suppose because we don‘t have them in Oz, except around zoos. We have naughty possums, and you don‘t want one of them in your roof! Very noisy and tramp around as though they have big feet! Love the photos, Brian. You did very well this time with the squirrels, though I didn’t mind them last time. That image of the squirrel coming down the tree trunk is priceless! Looks as though it’s stretching!😊 Is that an Insta360 X3 you’re using?
I like the result you are attaining with your new camera Brian, all the hallmarks of the DJI Pocket 3. I cannot get excited these days by Grey Squirrels, an invasive species that has trashed our Reds population. Lovely shots though and always nice to see a Pied Wagtail, such a lovely little bird.
@@keith.anderson1257 you’ll have to wait about the camera I’m afraid. I’m very much torn on the grey squirrel myself. I’m an animal lover and detest the thought of hurting or killing something as beautiful as this. But as you say it’s an invasive species which is not native to this land. Its introduction and ability to thrive here has caused so much harm to the indigenous species that it’s a catastrophe and one which needs controlled. They really are a menace where I live where red squirrels are still a common sight…..but for how much longer? The wagtails were just outside my caravan so all I had to do was pick up the camera and point it out of the window. It was the photo equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel.
Looks like your video is with a DJI Pocket 3 or something similar. First time I photographed squirrels, they were a blurry mess. Had to increase the shutter speed to similar to shooting birds. Those furry creatures are really fast! Enjoy the camping!!
@@jpsteiner2 yes, that’s was my action too. Problem is as the light goes down then the iso becomes silly plus you need to really open the aperture but with a long lens then the DOF becomes too shallow so the animal isn’t fully in focus. Isn’t photography wonderfully frustrating. I’ll let you know the camera in a future video
I would guess OP3, but it looks like you have a bit of background blur at times…hmmm, maybe you were close enough to allow. Personally I hope I’m wrong…the OP3 is great for vlogging, but I’m hoping you have another option for folks to consider.
Hello Brian, is your new camera one of those by DJI ? The quality is really impressive on my 32" monitor. Very steady picture too. I may be tempted to get one if my pension will stretch to it ! Mike
I have a certain relative that has bought a silencer for their rifle and none are allowed to live on their property. After they caused thousands of dollars of attic damage it was all over for the furry little guys in that neck of the woods 😂
It was 1990, 34 years ago you helped us move to Worcester mate. We went back for a visit last year. Very impressive cathedral there.

Great shot of the squirrel coming down the tree.

The footage is beautifully steady. Squirrels are a great subject for practicing outdoor portraits.

Quite sure this is the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, it's a really nice video camera 👍👍👍 I really enjoy your vlog contents, warmest wishes!
Thanks Gary. Can’t say what it is yet.
I enjoy yours too, we agree on many things. My warmest wishes in return.
No problems with the video quality - as always, it's the content that counts - and here it's always good.😀
