Very true. 😂 Roger rafa fans are so classless they feel the need to heckle THE GOAT. They got what they deserved. I wish Novak wins 2 more grand slams and inflict some more pain to these pathetic haters who can't respect a champion citing silly reasons.
Let's get this straight. Nole is pissed right now (fiasco with the crowd) and that is not a good thing for his opponent. On top of that De Minaur is one of the guys who bad mouth him on previous occasion (snake tongue him on Australia Open and getthing humiliated like he was amateur). So, if I was De Minaur, I would not go to that match also.

So you are now laughing cause hes hurt, you're worse than him then, and so called Djokovic fan. Him and Djokovic have a good relationship now, only if you too could let it go
No, it wasn't going to be. He said it himself, it would have not been respectful to even go out and play. It would have been a terrible match. Hopefully,, Alex will recover soon and have another opportunity to go deep in slams.
He was playing great and had the match of his life in front of him. Terrible luck for him - hope he recovers soon! Don't know why but all the Aussie players are just great people. Wish we Americans had their charm and wit.
So sorry Alex..tennis needs to revisit all the injuries of these tennis champs..and perhaps remodel number of tournaments...so very many tennis games are injuring so many young players!
Assuming it's Alcaraz in the final it won't really matter. Alcaraz is only 21yrs. Being as fit as he is at that young age, it really wont affect his energy ( if anything it will only make him better). Muscles recover exceedingly quickly at 21 years of age...you watch ...(speaking from experience)!!
And with that Djokovic is already in the final. His opponent from the semifinal lost any sort of possible edge, cuz Djokovic will be fresh as a daisy. And in the final he will be in a clear advantage over a tired Alcaraz. Djokovic knee is not an issue, as we clearly saw in the match against Rune.
In tennis you build up muscle in a unbalanced way. For example you have a on arm really strong and the other not same with back. So it leads to many many injuries. Especially when push yourself to the maximum.
@@johannsmith5697 Not really. Clay is the easiest surface for the body, with grass next. The softness of clay vs hardcourt means fewer impact injuries on clay (Fed's knee injuries & heel spurs are a result of his maximum play on hard courts, for example). Also movement & sliding on clay, esp for pro players, actually produces fewer injuries than running on hard courts (which 'grip' the shoe & thus make ankle injuries & twists more likely). There's no doubt the all-out style of play now (think Alcaraz, Sinner) can produce injuries, but it's really the combination of that demanding style of play COMBINED with very little recovery time. The schedule is so packed for most players now, there's no time for their strained bodies to recover. It's right back out again for another peak performance despite residue fatigue & strain. Even worse this year with RG, Wimbledon, Olympics & US Open all happening within basically 10 weeks.
so did a million other players, this man was about to play one of the biggest matches of his career and is now unable to play for 4-6 weeks have some decency, not everything is about Djokovic
Amazing! This many Novak fans hold a grudge against a player who said a cheater should be expelled from the tournament. Just one comment, an Australian wished him speedy recovery. Rest simply expressed glee for his injury. So sad. Btw, I am not a De Minaur fan.
Djokovic is a good model for any athlete regarding nutrition & self-care on a variety of levels. Once Djokovic totally changed his diet & has been watching every single thing he takes into his body (food, medications of any kind …) and incorporated other wellness practices into his lifestyle, his tennis drastically improved. Re: Australian Open, he stated he respected the choices everyone else was making re: vaccines, while also understanding how negatively a vaccine would impact his body. He was consistently respectful of others, while having the integrity to honor his needs. He said he would willingly give up his beloved tennis rather than give in to pressure to take something that would hurt him.
karma for Demanure. he hassled Novak for wanting to be the judge of what went into his body. so no love lost fir Demanure. if he apologizes.. he has a chance with me.

Here's why people dismiss & dislike Djokovic: His fans are everywhere gloating over De Minaur's injuries. Not happy to just quietly feel thrilled for Djokovic, yo've all got to publicly post your gloating & disrespect, publicly mock another player for what could be a career-ending injury. It's why the vast majority of tennis fans just laugh & have no sympathy when Djokovic gets booed again at Wimbledon. Djokovic doesn't actually care about 'sportsmanship' or 'respect'--if he did, he'd've publicly reined in his stans years ago. He can't complain about attack dogs when his own attack dogs are out here publicly disrespecting every other player. Nolefam: the worst of the worst, cheering for the worst of the worst.
