Brilliant to see the nature of Brunei- so lush. The hotel is gorgeous- I would like to stay there))) Brunei is now on my list to visit after your videos. Thank you!
Id advice you to go around the first few days of Eid so you can go visit the Sultan's palace and have some meal and even meet the Queen for the palace open house
Alhamdullillah thank you for your visit to Brunei - if you want to come see events that are colourful come in on 23rd February...if you want to enter the Istana ( Sultan's Castle) come on the second to fourth of Syawal ( in 2020 it might be in early May 5th ) , come see bruneian celebrate the sultan's birthday for 1 whole month in July . Do bring your entourage and welcome to Brunei Darussalam ( Brunei the Abode of Peace) 👍
Sorry Syawal is around 25 to 30th May 2020 in Brunei ..the sultan and his family in his castle will have raya open house( castle) from the second to fourth day of raya🤗
Wow! This is amazing, you actually drove around Brunei alone, without any tour guide and still made Brunei interesting. Thank you for visiting our humble country
I missed this place,I visit here two times..the empire Hotel! I've lived in Brunei for 16yrs years. I love Brunei, so many memorable moments in this country.
Thanks for your vlog because not many visit Brunei. You have covered more of the places (popular spots, locals place, mosque, etc) people, culture/religion, food & government subsidies etc. Now is it one of my bucket list to visit when I travel?
Went Brunei in 2018. Very quiet and peaceful but got a hard time getting taxis. You have to make an appointment with taxi drivers as they are limited in number, only 50 of them in the city. Residents have their own cars. I love the architecture displayed by the mosques and gosh- the Imperial hotel!
I get the humour 😉😁 The nature park with the waterfall is nice. Brunei is too quiet for me though.. You're right set your expectations right when you want to visit any country. Enjoy your solo travel
Thank you so much for visiting Brunei and showing the world about us.. You may come again during our national day celebration on the 23rd February and our Sultan birthday on the 15th of July..
I'm glad you enjoyed your time in Brunei. I've lived there for a year now. A couple of things: it's true that many expats live in KB and Seria, they are mostly oil company workers and soldiers. But there are many expat teachers in Brunei and they live all over the country. Secondly, as you saw, most drivers reverse into parking spots, but you didn't have to reverse into the parking spot you chose. When they are diagonal you can go "headfirst". Cheers!
At 8:10, I recommend you guys head to stall no.22 they have the most famous fried kuey tiao in Brunei! Too bad you missed it! Catch it if you come back next time!
I recommend to visit some other places in Brunei such as Rimba Garden Central (RGC) selling assorted plants , Belait Museum where all the history of oil is displayed, weekend markets in Pasar Belait, Pasar Gadong and Temburong town. And now we have Temburong bridge that connects Brunei Muara with Temburong district :)
Dude, Sayur Asem in intro part is Indonesian cuisine, Bruneian satay normally comes with peanut sauce. You could have tried more local activities and went to more interesting places if you asked from locals who'd normally just eager to point you out...especially local food. saying goes u ask right people the right question then you'll have it ;) You can go for an adventure activities at the other districts like Tutong, KB or Temburong which is just 30 mins drive across the SOAS bridge or 45 mins boat ride greet by nothing but nature. Make friend with our indigenous people, try their food and wine, visit long houses, go scuba diving and lots more.... travel tip - try visiting during action packed festive season, anyhow thank you for the visit ...! 😃
Hello . This 30th November ,2019. Will be an event held at Bandar Seri Begawan. Hope you will enjoy the event. Its open to public. Sorry if my english kinda weird.
