Straight forward, clear, and no room for error. One of the most helpful tutorials I have come across by far.

This was one of the clearest demonstrations I have watched. Straight to the point no extra conversation, really appreciated your excellent tutorial.

I make tutorials similar to this. Here's a link to a playlist on gimp. ua-cam.com/play/PLUBs9Tr6Rf7UsY14LYqBOXEJ_0K9AxZI5.html

Just cause im curious (my version of GIMP only shows HSV Saturation), what did you choose as the Top Layer Mode?

This is one of the easiest tutorials to follow for those of us who are new to GIMP! Thank you for showing ALL the steps to get the job done!

Works great! Quick and simple tutorial, well done!
In addition, and for those who didn't try yet, you can get back some colors on your image by just disabling the top layer (the one with the saturation mode).

I wish to thank you for an easy-to-follow tutorial on a subject I would never have dreamed of tackling alone. Following your steps, I created an image that would have cost me money to have someone do it. I intend to save your video for future reference. Again, thank you very much!

Thank you for the fantastic tutorial! A little problem with the image I used...maybe you could recommend where I might make modifications? Some of the dark areas of my photo ended up solid black with no pencil effect. (which horribly contrasts the rest of the modifications) These were dark areas in the clothing folds in my image.

Thank you for a great tutorial! Others I had watched do not lay it out step by step as you do, and assumed that you already knew some things about GIMP.
Your tutorial is step by step which makes it incredibly easy to follow! Thank you!
