I think I used 3 in 1 oil, unless I took the mechanicals apart on it there’s no way to get and sort of grease in there. I’m sure the 3 in 1 didn’t do much of anything at all but judging by the price and how most ratchets come I’m sure it was better than nothing at all.
Also, someone said whenever they get a set of ratcheting wrenches they let them soak in transmission oil first to make sure they are properly lubricated. Any thoughts?
It might be better than nothing, really tho for any type of ratchet or gear mechanism some thicker grease is best. I never found a way to get the ratcheting parts out that didn’t require a press, and I wasn’t prepared to do battle with them. If you open up and look inside a higher quality ratchet you’ll find even a lot of them don’t have proper lubrication from the factory. My gearwrench 120xp was bone dry on the inside, same with some new old stock USA made craftsman’s I had. So Again it probably can’t hurt but for the price of these wrenches I’d use them til they crap out. If you get a year out of them and they save you in a pinch I’d say they did the job.
The more teeth in the ratcheting mechanism will allow you to work in tighter spaces cause you won’t have to turn it as much. Each click is a tooth in the ratcheting gear. A ratchet or ratcheting wrench that has 72 teeth will have to rotate more before it engages and you can apply torque on the nut or bolt.
They entirely dropped the 30 day return and 2 year warranty and lifetime tech support info from the description. Someone asked a question about the warranty and Prostormer responded it was just a 1 year warranty. Lot of other sellers on Amazon offer lifetime warranties. None of the other sellers however include the 6 & 7mm wrenches in their sets.
I’m honestly not surprised. I’m not sure what kind of tech support you’d be able to offer on a wrench. Just like whatever din spec they listed for certification, it looks good when you’re buying it. I appreciate all the feed back and you watching my videos. If you’d like to email me your info I’ll mail you out some channel stickers, qvisionentertainment@gmail.com. Stay safe brother.
Overall I’m happy with the performance from the price point. There are certainly better wrenches for bigger bucks, but overall they made a nice addition to my tool cart.
Overall very good. It tends to be a specific use case that I reach for these but when I need them, they are handy. They definitely aren’t abused as much as my Milwaukee metric wrenches that aren’t ratcheting or flex head, but for the price even if I had to buy them twice it would have been worth the money.
I would love to find a video where someone torcher tested these to failure, if anyone finds that and can share a link i would be extremely grateful. I have some gearwrench and others, but i did get these on a prime day, both sets metric and sae 😂
Justin Hickey I just used them for a caliper swap, mostly to give them an honest workout and I wasn’t disappointed. There’s for sure better for higher dollar but I’m a backyard mechanic so
WD-40 for the lubrication?

I use gear oil
what is the difference between 75 and 100 tooth ratched tool?

I saw that on Amazon too.
I just need something that can take a hammer blow.
Thanks for the review. I just wanted to order one. How did they prove themselves in business?

@@QVisionGarage Thanks for the answer
EXdenisibl anytime! Good luck with the set.
So how have these held up?

I'm a sucker for neat cases. If my proto wrenches were to fit in there nice and tight I'd get it just for that.
hello. Can you make a recent video on the tools. 👍👍😎😎🛠✌️
Hey Jay, thanks for watching! You mean on the wrenches? Or just on some other tools? Let me know, I’ll try and put something together soon.
The bigger the wrench the bigger the teeth since they are all 72 teeth wrenches.
Justin Hickey I wish I was able to get in there and see the mechanism but they definitely do that job.
@@QVisionGarage I have a set out for delivery now. The top bolt on my shocks are a pain hope they help make it easier.

Justin Hickey appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment brother. Good luck with the set
Good products speaks for themselves, no need to boast a ton. Unless for limited use I would not look at them twice
