I have it, love it, just it doesn't recognize or upload any file I try to upload. I noticed in this demo the URL upload works....but no file upload was shown...

You can add the use of our Password Protected Categories plugin to make them private at the category level. For details, see: barn2.com/kb/protect-document-library/ . I hope this helps.
