Must be a real precode low budget movie. You notice how the actress who played the secretary was actually very good and untraditional as far as the way most women's parts were written back then. I wonder if that actress broke into the studio system later on. She was pretty natural compared to the mostly overacting actresses of the time.
It's sad that nothing in society has changed, so the plot is completely relevant to today's political climate.
