Thanks for all the explanations! It's really hard in Maine & NH to provide much explanation on vlogs because the terrain is so difficult, so I appreciate you doing it when you can. Later as the trail gets easier, you will have more opportunities. Your videos are quite enjoyable to watch! Love the added touches of the emojis and frogs, although I know those kind of things take a lot of extra time.
Man, 18 on day 4 of a SOBO from Katahdin is a BIG day. Roots, rocks, mud and standing water really slows you down and is really hard on joints and stabilizing muscles that are not yet conditioned. Listen to your body and take your time.
ME is all about roots, you will not see that anywhere else. I really felt the nero's worked better than the zero's. Don't worry about the miles So ME and NH are tough, the rest of the trail becomes very easy as a SOBO. I didn't see a moose until VT at Stratton Pond.
We're in North Georgia are you from. My was from Lakemont. I have done Ga. And some of N.C. to old to attempt a thru hike now. Good luck and I will follow you and send prayers.
Maine is the hardest! But it’s also a very pretty place! You are doing great but don’t over do it! You just started out and need to get your trail legs! I’m enjoying your hike. Take care , keep looking down, and just enjoy each and every step. Hike on!! 🧗♀️🥾🇺🇸🙏🏕️😎👍
I am enjoying this 🌅
Doing great with the videos. Enjoy your hike.

90% of hiking can be looking down at the trail for roots or rattlers.
