How apt. A few days ago I started posting Biscuits songs to a Twtr page.... just in time to administer the coup de grace there tonight with a posting of this. However, apparently no fucker on there gets it. But that does not take the warm glow of the perfect irony's beautiful timing away from me. Thanks Biscuits!
Am I the only one who sees the current truth in this record!
Hands up anybody who bought this 12" vinyl instead of the 7". Either way, utter quality.
I bought the 12 inch from Probe on Mathew Street,Liverpool.
Im 17 years old and proud to be the only one in my generation listening to this band
spread the word la
Good work fella,
Hate to take it away from you, but I’m twenty.
I'm eleven, beat that 😂
@Mickeyman1 and that's how you know you're growing up correctly. Preach good music man, I'm 18 and seem to be the only person in my highschool who listens to non-mainstream music from before the 2000s. 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah what an awesome song... I've just rediscovered HALF MAN HALF BISCUIT and I'm glad that I have...this song still Makes me laugh ...!!! SO A BIG UP TO HALF MAN HALF BISCUIT 🍺😊👍🏴🇷🇺🏴🏴🅰️☮️☯️🏴🏴
Gotta love how it first sounds peaceful and melancholic, and then it turns up the heat.
Im eleven and proud to be the only 11 year old to know and love this band 😂
Trumpton Riots reached Number 2 in The 1985 Indie charts blocked from the Number 1 spot by Strawberry Switchblade and their song Since Yesterday. This is how i first heard of them nearly 40 years ago. DHS on their album cover is what is now called Job Centre plus ! I was a Smiths fan so have a listen to them as well ?
It's a great song, but the live versions of it (BBC, HMHB live gig album) are much better, they are full of so much more power
Also the live Old Grey Whistle Test performance is excellent. They were very young then.
@@angelariley.9963 I think I was referring to the Old Grey Whistle Test when I wrote that (but I'm not sure seeing that it was over two years ago), but that version is also very good - thinking about it, HMHB are really at their best when live.
It would be cool to see them play at a gig once COVID has died down, as even now they still sound great :)
@@OwlGal They did a gig last weekend but I cant remember where.
@@angelariley.9963 Oh nice :0 That would be cool to go to
@@OwlGal it only told me that same evening, too late to do anything about it. I think it was Buxton.
haha am 56 and still lovin it in 2024 ▶️🎸🎶🎵🎧🎼
For those in Rathkeale.
I was today years old when I discovered HMHB and this is the best thing I've heard in years... HMHB is the kind of kick music needs now. Im also 17 like somebody else said. What songs/albums do the loyal fans recommend listening to next? Any particular order or just be served by the algorithm?
check out the Fall too
