Bristol Balloon Fiesta August 12, 2022

I visited the Balloon Festival this morning and it was my first time. We were up at 4am arrived at just before 6am for the ascent but then spent 50 mins in a traffic jam trying to park and missed the whole thing. What a jib! They really ought to sort the road areas better to allow people to park faster on these days. £23 wasted! For anyone who is thinking of going in your car my advice would be get there at 5am to park up at 5.30am when gates open or there is £10 parking right next to the main entrance in a field that was easy to get into and you just walk to the event then. I would do that next time. Thanks for uploading this video so I can see what I missed. It’s too hot and busy to go back in the evening when I suspect traffic may be even worse.

Fantastic footage, we went this afternoon as |I couldn't get my daughter overnight, the balloons didn't fly so just watching what we missed. 😞

This festival was on my bucket list and I've been wanting to go for quite some time after going on about it for a few months when the time came i completely forgot about it ...i feel gutted
