Sparx went from buzzing to speaking (MANY TIMES) and fortunately back to buzzing. I got a few more, but in the few days a Voltron; Complete Edition will be my main priority. (Damn that early dislike, that... stings lol)
Andre Sogliuzzo is definitely my favorite cause he has the traditional buzzing of Sparx. Out of the talking ones I definitely like the change in Sparx’s voice actor since he had a personality change throughout the trilogy. If a Legend of Spyro film was made I would use David Spade to voice Sparx.
I'd far go for Wayne Brady, personally. He has emotion in his voice acting that sounds great IN context as much as out of context. David Spade's VAing only sounds good out of context where there's no emotional weight necessary.
I tell you what David Spade did an incredible job voicing sparx the dragonfly in The legend of Spyro a new beginning I really like him he is funny I hope I get to meet him someday I laughed when I first watched Joe dirt
Of the talking versions of Sparx I honestly thought Wayne Brady did it best. David Spade just sounded like Cusco but without a Disney-quality voice director, and Billy West's version was just annoying throughout the game. Wayne Brady provided a decent performance with a certain charm that fitted the Legend of Spyro-trilogy.
David Spade was fuqing PERFECT for the role. PERFECT. Sparx is *his* character, fullstop. Such a shame that he didn't end up doing the whole trilogy. I want a remake again but with photorealism, a gritty dark bloody fantasy setting, and rpg elements done well to a story that touches on the themes of loss, vengeance and existentialism. One of those things that if it was actuly done with due credit it could be super impressive.
David Spade is a brilliant actor! I absolutely love him and he worked well with the material. My personal favorite character of his is Kuzco. But, I don't feel that he's suited for Sparx. Sparx, in the original, is tough, but also an absolute sweetheart. In the Legend of Spyro series, it seemed that Sparx and Spyro switched personalities. I would've sooner accepted David taking the role of Spyro than Sparx. No hate, though. David is a great actor.
Can you you do the characters of Skylanders academy from Netflix and you should created GKIDS film's like your name and wolf's children and boy and the beast
West's is good, but his performance will probably be criticized for sounding too much like Fry from Futurama, instead of West hiving Sparx a more distinct voice. And West can do things with his voice that make you think they altered it on the track (case in point: the energy being from Futurama who, according to Bender, is from a dimension that's big on musical theater. The recording studio had to be shut down for a day because they thought something was wrong with the equipment when Billy used that voice).
He was good but everyone who worked on A New Beginning said that he was horrible to work with. But honestly I understand why because he's not a voice actor.
David Spade's VAing sounds way better outside of context. In context it is horrible, monotonous, and garbage. Andre Guzilianno might be my favorite from Hero's Tail. Billy West sounds Goddamn sinister just in general. Wayne Brady is absolutely the best of the reboot. Has emotion in it as well as wit.

No offense but was James Arnold Taylor too busy with something else to play Sparx in the second legend of spyro?
the speaking of sparx was the best eara of him
"Oh, you know. A little stiff, voice keeps changing..."
"Ha ha?"
Meta.
I mean, he's not wrong.
That’s my favourite Sparx quote!

Wow Andre Sogliuzzo is a pretty underrated voice actor
David Spade as Sparx is amazing absolutely love him
André Sogliuzzo, He's My Favorite Voice Actor.
Its rough cause i LOVE Billy West.
And when i first heard Sparx speak... it was weird.
But the one i was most excited about was David Spade!
There’s so much emotion with Andre Sogliuzzo
I tell you what David Spade did an incredible job voicing sparx the dragonfly in The legend of Spyro a new beginning I really like him he is funny I hope I get to meet him someday I laughed when I first watched Joe dirt
David Spade was also voice of kuzco
@@calebpettigrew6835 yep he was also Joe dirt in Joe dirt that's why I like David Spade because he's so funny and hilarious
A hero's tail sparx scares me deeply with the mixture of classic sparx and speaking
1:39 holy crap!

I really think that David spade was the best thing of Spyro a new beginning
1:36 Anyone picture Kuzco talking?
I love the Sparx that doesn’t talk, but for The legends series I have to say my favourite is David 100%
2:14 Anyone picture the red M&M talking?
Love David spade in new beginning, played that game as a kid a lot and recently found out he voices it lmao.
I liked david spade the best. Makes sparx sound like such a chad lmao

Tanya Mousekewitz (An American Tail) voice comparison, please.
WTF, the second trilogy changed so much the voices!
🤣Yeah no kidding they couldn't keep the same actors, they even pointed out in the trilogy at 2:53
Yeah I like when Sparks didn't talk just seems so weird to me to hear him talk
I like David Spade's performance. Not sure about Billy West and Wayne Brady... but we did get a joke about changing voices out of it.

Ok, If I'm being crazy but DID I JUST HEAR KING DICE!! :O
Damn.. when i played this i didn't even notice Wayne brady i was too focused on him sounding like an old man
Andre Sogliuzzo will always be the best Sparx. Billy West did great as Sparx in the LoS series but David Spade and Wayne Brady did a horrible job.
Andre is my man.
Griffin the invisible man from Hotel Transylvania voices Sparx the dragonfly in Spyro?!!
What a surprise!!
Compare the voices of Mera (from DC Comics) plz

It's cool that they took the same dubber for the reignited. Or perphaps they took the old audio files.
They had the old actor come back, same for Spyro and and Ripto. Fun fact, spyro is vocied by Tom Kenny - the voice of spongebob.

1.David Spade
2.Billy West
3.Andre Sogliuzzo
4.Wayne Brady
I think The Legend of Spyro 1 was the only video game role David did. I could be wrong.
Maria Hill (Marvel) Voice Comparison
I’m sorry but David Spade and Wayne Brady are so bad in this. Andre at least gave him a suitable nasally voice that was kind of endearing
What about Billy West?

Billy West aka the Dragon-Fry
Andre Sogliuzzo : BZZZZ bzzz BZZZ bbbzzZZ!
Also Andre Soqliuzzo :

HESITATION IS DEFEAT, SEKIRO!
Andre Sogliuzzo also voiced sparx in Skylanders
He can speak?
Well...in A Hero's Tail and Legend of Spyro trilogy yes
why the fuck do they keep switching back and forth? And why are all the voices terrible??
Very great question I have no idea
Who disliked this video?
They probably did because they didn't like wayne Brady
David spade. DEFINITELY David spade. He gave sparx so much personality!
Took away all of the personality**

Only ever liked Andre Sogiluzzo. None of the Legend of VA's clicked with me at all... not even Billy West.
