This is maybe my favourite ever rhcp video, it's this energy that made them the amazing band they are. Mohawk rhcp was the best rhcp. and that jam is just on another fucking level.
This jam feels like home to me. First time I heard it, UA-cam didn't even exist. 18 years ago (b-side on the by the way single). It fills me with pure joy to know I can always come back to this and be speechless.
The musical connection between Flea John and Chad here is almost paranormal. I remember seeing them in 2004 and it just blew me away. So happy to say I saw John in the flesh before he left.
John Frusciante never ceases to amaze me! He puts his 27 grams in everything he plays, he's a huge source of inspiration for everyone that's sensitive to music. His '62 strat is one of the most recognizable sounds in the business.

Well, its a tie between this and Easily(not my fav song by no means) but Live @ Hyde park version & improv is astounding, and second to none, just like this, thus we have a tie...
My favorite band covering one of my favorite bands ever? Long live to the Chili Peppers and The Stooges, the greatest rock n’ roll band ever. Oh, and long live to Punk, god I love Punk.
I love John, but Flea's adventurousness on the bass was usually what made John seem so God-like. He doesn't get enough credit for taking John's solos to new heights.
I was wondering about the notes for that fast repeapting lick in the final solo at 2:36 High-E -----------12p9----------12p9---- B ------------------------11p9-------11p9---- Is it correct that he pulls off from 11 to 9 on the b string or is it just the 11th fret?

Is there a way you can listen to the last 2 minutes of this video? Where John and Flea are jamming? It's the best thing I have EVER heard but I cannot find it on youtube neither can I find my "Off the map" DVD :/
