Thank you very much! I have my Physics p3 tomorrow and this turned out really helpful. Please continue making such videos, I've learnt more from this one video than I've learnt in my practical class in school :P.
@@jasmine-iy6lr guys chill just follow the instructions without fail, the only actual worry is the limitations and uncertainties question. to prepare for that one you should go through past papers and mark schemes to get a general idea of what they want.
@@ProEpicGuya76c007 also to find uncertainty take multiple readings and half their range (subract the smaller number from the bigger number then half it), if your multiple readings are the same, such as when using a ruler, just half the smallest interval (on a ruler it would be half of 1mm which is 0.5mm)
found your videos to be extremely helpful so thank you for that! one question, if we're using a meter ruler, what is the sensible range for us to have our measurements in?
For the table if we have oscillations how many repeated readings should we show to get the period. Thank you so much by the way. 👏 Anyone help please 🙏
Hello. I have a question about recording my measurements when I need to write down periods of oscillations. If I take measurements of about 10 (so 10T) oscillations twice should I first find the one T for each of the repeat readings or get the average of the two 10T oscillations and then divide it by 10 and then by 2 to get the one T? Another question that is not quite clear is when they ask for the percentage uncertainty. Should I write my result as just the percentage say 7% or value + percentage (1.2 +- 7%)?
MafiaAndu Rezilla Thank you so much. While we're on the topic of uncertainties does it matter if I say that my percentage uncertainty is 2.26% or should I try to decrease the number of significant figures at all times so I write 2.3%? I'm sorry I'm asking these questions but it's always the details that are left unexplained on the lessons.
I've told my students to do (difference in K / smallest K value) x 100 that way they get the greatest possible % - the worst case scenario if you get me. I would go with what your teacher is telling you. I will look into it. Chris
@@hebakhan4426Hey,what topics are u revising for phy p3? do we have to like learn all the formulas aswell? and since chem p2 is literally the next day how are you planning to do the last min revision?
@@stressedoutkid2415 no you don't really need to know the formulas for p3, just focus on errors & improvements. and make sure you use proper sig figs for your values. & like learn how to plot a graph + gradient + y int. phy p3 is super easy if you know what youre doing. also for chem p2 i have to revise all of organic chem which isn't ideal ;-;
Try to make the line of best fit have an equal distribution of points either side.. remember you are allowed to ignore one point but you have to state it as an outlier.

For the relationship question, my teacher says to use 20%, is that too big? (To see if it supports or not)
10% or 20% doesn't really matter - you just select a criteria.
mine says it is too big
you should instead check if the percentage difference is less than the larger of the two percentage uncertainty

very helpful, for the graph are you allowed to use a pencil?
5:20 isn't the formula difference / avg x 100 aand the % we get we have to check if it is greater or less than 10% but u have done it with K?
What does it mean to plot the graph to an accuracy of half a small square?????? Does it mean you have to round up and down your values??
Just make sure your x is as close to your measure value as possible

Is it imp for answering the relationship question based on 10% or it varies on the question?
