I’m from South Africa and have thought about starting a channel myself to bring more visibility to Black queer couples here. But I’m not sure I’m ready for the scrutiny and judgment that might come with it. My husband and I have been together for 14 years, married for 5, and your dynamic as a couple feels so familiar! Sometimes I find myself rolling my eyes at Alex because it’s like looking in a mirror and seeing all those little things I need to work on too! And Ricky reminds me of my husband-a bit on the quieter side but with a love for life’s little pleasures. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Hey guys, love the channel. Here's a thought for your travels, I just moved from Atlanta to South Africa. Travel to Joburg and Capetown, you will love it.
In my opinion many relationships do not last because the couple hasn't learned to communicate. Relationships require a lot of work. If one partner cheated, which to me, is such a silly reason couples break up. Talk about it and work it out. I have seen so many couples break up because one half cheated Let me be the first to tell you that the grass isn't greener on the other side. There really isn't all those fish in the sea. They lied about all that stuff but you may get lucky! I've seen some sad souls because they left a good man. After nearly 40 years my husband and I have been together we still have disagreements. You learn to give and take. Personally, I think what you both are doing as couple is greatly needed. We need more like you sharing their story. Making videos is hard work and that's one reason I haven't posted one yet. But it's coming!

I remember that video from 2017😊. I don't have a relationship question more of a cooking question. I seen you add coco to yours. What exactly does that add to the chili? I love to make mine from scratch myself.
Oh wow! We go way back then ☺️ and the cocoa powder adds some umami to the chili and helps balance out the flavors, it doesn’t make it sweet at all though!
