hi silvertone could you please answer my question? i bought a silvertone 1449 reissue and when the pickup selector is in the middle position and both pickups are on can you blend the volume of each pickup differently,at different volumes? when i have the pickup selector in the middle position and i turn down either of the volume pots,the volume of both pickups goes down. is this how they are meant to be? i thought you would be able to blend the volumes(have them at different levels)if the pickup selector was in the middle position,when both pickups should be on. please help me out here as i am not sure if i should return the guitar or this is how the work.(maybe carry'ed over from the vintage ones) it kind of doesn't make sense to have two volume pots if having one could do the same as one. is it not meant to be like a gibson set-up with the two volume and two tone and you can blend till your hearts content. please please help silvertone!
