I’ve been mistakenly trying the “more speed” version first and I just tried the version you did prior to that on my spinner and what a night and day difference! I’m going to use the beginner “open close” version from now on until I build up the muscle memory more ❤️ Thank you 🙌
If you point down with your toe up on your free foot once you cross your free foot at your skating leg's knee and have free foot heel parallel with the ice, you can generate even more speed or rotations as you press your leg down be cause your legs will be even tighter together. Try it. Watch your shoulders that they are parallel with the ice or you'll travel near the end of your spin.
Thank you for all the great content! I love watching your videos, and I can't wait to see more. I would also like to see videos on different flying spins!
Idk if you said the already but if you didn’t say then I just wanna say that you have to have a little outside edge so you don’t fall on your inside edge (only do a bit of outside edge tho)
You’re moving left/right because you’re skating on an edge (either outside or inside). This is probably because you’re pushing your weight slightly more on a side, so try to distribute your weight more evenly and that should help :)

Excellent tips on how to do the forward scratch spin. With more practice, a basic scratch spin will become a powerful scratch spin.
THANK YOU THIS HELPED SOOOO MUCH II FINNALLY PASSED MY TEST

THANK YOU SOOO MUCHHHH❤❤❤
do you have any tips on how to get off my toe pick doing the spin??
nice moves, could u please be kind enough to remake a back scratch spin video, Jasmine. Much appreciated ~!
Could you do a back spin tutorial please 🤩
Tysm for this video! One question: should my toe pick be scratching the ice or not?
The bottom toe pick will lightly scratch the ice… thus the name scratch spin. You are balancing on the “ball of the foot” or just behind the toes.
Hello.. i am a beginner and my one foot glide can not move straight. Always move forward left or right. Can you give me some tips? Thanks
