Nice how it promotes 17 and 18 as the villains without revealing Cell (unless Cell hadn't been thought up yet). Bardock's story was more tragic. His friends died and so did he. At least Trunks made a new timeline where they survived and went on to face Cell and Majin Buu.

As for Gohan's death scene and Trunks finding his body in the USA dub, yeah i too like it since that's the first time i saw this scene, (also why mute Trunks? In the original the only said "Mr. Gohan", it's not like they did with Gohan epic transformation to super saiyan 2 when he opened his mouth for no reason) but the music used when Trunks gets brutaly owned Lapis & Lazuli? Trunks goes to the past to warn the others of the future awaits them. Trunks kills Frieza and his father King Cold. Goku suffers the heart virus, but with trunks's cure he is saved. Vegeta destroys Android 19. Androids 17 and 18 awake and kills their creator, Android 20. Cell travels to the past too and absorbs the androids to obtain his perfect form. Goku sacrifices himself to save everyone from Cell. Gohan in SSJ2 form finally defeats Cell. Trunks returns to his own timeline and destroys #17 & #18 to avenge the death of his friends and his mentor, future Gohan. Trunks's timeline is finally at peace until the arrival of a new menace: Black Goku.
