Awesome little confused by the Brooke and Jaime part

The story was Dean and Haley were bestfriends, Haley was married to Nathan, when Haley found out she was pregnant, Nathan left her, Dean stuck around to help Haley, and they fell in love, Lydia (Haley and Nathans kid) saw Dean as her daddy... cuz he was there.... Dean had a relationship as well, with Brooke, who had their son Jamie... he loved Brooke, but they were more or less a one nighter lol, when Nathan came back into Haleys life, she ended things with Dean, who went back to Brookes to help raise Jamie...
