Okay proper intro:
Crowley had wondered why Aziraphale was always resisting his own feelings. Even though the stubborn angel obviously couldn't keep his love and concern to himself, he refused to admit so and strongly denies their relationship whenever the subject was brought up.
But unlike the natural longevity of ineffable creatures, the doubt didn't last an eternity.
In the roaring fires of the bookshop which had just lost its former owner, the demon picked up the witch's book.
It turned out that during Aziraphale's six thousand years of his angelic duties, he had come across《The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter》more than once. And the very first prophecy that came to his eye, to his terror, spoke of the demon with whom he already became way too close.
"Do you know what trouble I'll be in if they knew I'd been…fraternizing?"
Restless upon of holy wat'rs of heaven, consum'd by the fires of hell.
He knew.

I have read thousands of books, watched thousands of movies and tv shows… don’t cry, maybe evoke a sniffle or two, but usually just enjoy and go on. SO WHY is it that these two characters, these two hero’s have me crying, no SOBBING ! From the moment I read the book, they have caused an obsession with wanting THEM to be happy. Hahaha that bit was Crowley desperately trying to cope with Aziraphale's death (yet clearly futile). The angel he saw in mirror reflection was actually just his illusion. I thought the little smile and wave of the imaginary zira there made sense bc that's likely the way Crowley would have remembered him. Beaming and accommodating.

Here's some more angst: if you're not listening very sharply, you can hear the "I lost my best friend" as "I love my best friend"
I misheard it as "love" first time watching the scene and I was like 😮 until I realized "lost" made more sense context-wise. Anyway Aziraphale responding with "so sorry to hear it" always tears me apart a little.
Even with original plot engraved in to my soul, this video still managed to make my eyes water… Thank you. This is brilliant.

I always read the subtitles, occasionally I cant process the sound going on and it really helps. That and I used to watch a lot of french movies subtitled in english so now I go straight to the subtitles.
Thank you so much! I loved how heart-rending this sequence was, in the book, and how achingly depressed Crowley became. And in the tv show version, it's shortened and not as painful, which makes the resultant relief, when it's all over (because it isn't all over) feel less like the original's giggle-tears and more casual. And this UA-cam really sets that experience's psychological bone; I feel like I'm seeing all the pain and relief again, and not just jogging quickly through a bunch of scenes before the ending. The pain gave the joy and relief more meaning and empathy, and makes that sequence come back to me, in my own difficult moments.
