I think the lighter popping sound has to do with the fact that the drills can't sink as far into the putty as they do in a plastic multiplacer, where there's more "give." So you still get a pop, especially when using fresh putty, but it's not quite as much. I love how accurate my placement is when using these tips! I can't go back to using any others now. XD
I love that tip. I use the 4 placer with rounds. I have a metal 7 placer - and love it - but I like it better for my square kits. The DAC placers are the best!! I use them with Amazon pens.
Don’t lose the washer cause you might need it for other pens! It gives it an extra snug fit if washi won’t work. The DAC multiplacers don’t really pop because the drills don’t sink into the placer like they do with others cause the DAC ones are so thin! Hard pressing gives pops on occasion though. If you are wanting the best pops you have to use the plastic ones ❤
It was a learning curve for me too but i'm also a hard placer so I really enjoy the placer being metal! I also only got putty for the first time yesterday and the pops are soooo satisfying! 🥰
I don't get pops with my metal multiplacers either! I actually started with them so I thought it was normal hahahah. I've also been struggling with my current canvas and the diamonds sticking to my glue dot in my single placer too so...just a mess over all it feels like. 😅
Oh man I was laughing so hard! Just because of the similarity of our first experiences of using this multiplacer. Down to even poking myself with the tweezers 😂 I hope you’re okay though! I do love these now though and it’s all use, even with rounds

Thank you for keeping it real, I enjoy your chaotic videos! 🥰

I’ve heard if you take the putty and roll it into a small snake like putty in it the pen & putty works better
You can push the putty down with tweezers.

Leave the washer on. 👍🌹💙💡
