The Bridal Brandisher. It's become my favourite melee ever since it was added. It looks nice, has insane reach, does good damage all around, has a quick walkspeed...but most of all, the headshot multi is 3.0. Meaning it can always one shot to the head. Even to the front.
as the record holder for the stopper, yes this melee is extremely braindead good with nearly no other melees being able to compete even without empsliding lel
I remember when you only had 2 melees in the game. You had to pick between a knife and a machete and I'm pretty sure the machete was only unlocked at rank 73. I remember when having the machete was one of the coolest things you could have because you had to achieve a high rank to get it. This game has changed so much since back in the day. I still use it once in a while just to feel like I'm playing classic pf.
i've always had a thing for the Jason. it has a good balance of speed and damage along with a hitbox of a truck. plus, it's the first melee skin i've ever got.
The neat thing is I don't have to care about walkspeed since my secondary has 16.2 and can 4tap all ranges, so I'm probably gonna use the stopper or something else if I unlock it, so far I use my Jason in tanzanite because it has a broken hitbox
I wouldn't say this is strong but the cursed shinai has 16 walk speed with 7 blade length. the zircon slamsickle only has 4. sure it has 50 damage, but it has a 1.4 torso multiplier and a 1.5x headshot multiplier and can backstab so it does ight damage if u hit those areas
Longsword is better than chosen one because it swings a bit faster, most of the phantom forces players literally never use a melee so once you get close there isn’t much they would do, but for battles where both side uses melee a chosen one is definitely better due to reach advantage
best melee is prob the morning star 70 base dmg 1.3 torso and head multi good range at 5.3 studs don't forget the broken backstab hitbox only downside is the 14.5 walkspeed
i have a challenge for oscar or anybody who wants to try it the challenge is that for 3 to 5 hours you have to play the objective. you can play on any map except desert storm, second storm, metro, metro revamp and bazaar. you also cannot use the sever browser unless the ping gets to bad.
My friend has a strat that he uses with bridal brandisher and has like 750 kills with it because of it, he slides into the person, looks straight up and stabs. It goes through their entire body and will hit either their back or head and they die. He mainly uses this if they run into someone head on, obviously from behind just go for a normal backstab.
The top 4 for me are barefists, zweihander, hrunting and gospel blade for high dmg and speed is pretty useless after all because emp slide exists (diminishes the value of me saying barrfists but whatever)
I got a legendary skin for a cleaver so I decided to use it to show off the skin but then I found out that I am VERY good with the cleaver and its the weapon for me now
just saying you guys, the sweeper is REALLY good because of its 8.8 melee range, it does “60” damage (sometimes i do 69 and i have no fucking clue why) so you two hit everyone, and fast swing speed too, use this if you are out of ammo and you just wanna turn brain off and charge to your enemy
The Zircon Trident is better than the Zircon Slamsickle (in my opinion) because if you right click, it has the capability of instantly landing a hit. Also, the stats are pretty good.
For instantaneous reflex activators Brass knuckles/bare fists Yes bare fists Yes For Historical accurating like players Mosin Nagant/Training Bayonet For Menacing and Threatening means I dare not to ask/object/question/ because I know what if feels like to coware in a corner and suddenly see a single frame of a blue/orange enemy rushing towards you with a bare fists/brass Knuckles/Zero cutter Because I do those things
The problem with Bridal Brandisher is the skin, I got a gold on that, but both of them are for the damn handle, and the blade is just a normal blade, it's so LAME.
I would honestly say Zweihander is the best melee in the game, run around with a pistol (hardballer short barrel :skull) and just hold F whenever you want to kill someone
The havoc blade (unlocked at rank 100) is also a really good combanation of damage and speed as it has 15.6 walk speed and 80 front stab damage and 120 back stab damage

there is no 1 best melee, but the best class of melee is s tier. the stopper: s tier and the best melee for melee against melee the cursed shinai: s tier and the best melee against guns and best allround melee fumelee: s tier and the best high speed melee (also fumelee) there are few other s tier, and most i havent discoverd yet i can say this as fact because i am a rank 90 always melee only the slamsicle used to be s tier, but it got nerved in this video im disapointed how little he talked about hitboxes and attack paterns

Quick tip, if you use a "heavy" melee you can equip the boxy buster if you have it for 16 walkspeed.

I know it's obscure, but I fucking love the Nordic war axe, I love it so much in fact, that I spent over 50 dollars getting a tanzinite one.

for me the best melee is the crucible/noobslayer, almost 7 lenght, decent walkspeed, and it can backstab from the front if you use the right click

12.5 walkspeed might not be great, but it deals 95 dmg with a 1.1 torso multi

I highly reccomend the funny minecraft sword (tanzanite blade) just because its so easy to cheese backstabs with it and it has a decent walkspeed.
I find the tanzanite pickaxe to be better, it’s basically free headshots, I got it a few weeks ago and got a 12 kill streak with it
