Very nice workaround, simple and elegant! Thanks This probably emulates the bottom patch found in induction certified cookware, power supplied by the oven is constant, however utensil being of steel would be a requirement. One can check other metal utensils and try, no harm there. Oven should not get spoiled as they have protection built in. To check power consumption, take say 200ml of water and heat it in a induction certified bowl and measure time taken, do the same with a smaller utensil and verify time taken with the same power/heat setting.
it will not provide the effective cooking and lot of energy is used, which puts extra load on induction coil... try to avoid this unless there is an urgent need
Thanks for sharing. I don't understand what you are talking but with the clear evaluation I understand that I can use that steel screen to work the induction cooktop for non induction pot.
That's true but it will decrease heating efficiency three times..its a complete wastage of energy and time. The choice is yours ,better spend few bucks on induction based utensils.
I used this trick but its not working for me....what shud i do???? I buy a new small induction pan, its flat surfaced but with small surface. It doesn't full on that mentioned circle on induction cooktop.
Plz don't try this ...i tried this later it got repaired....my induction was running very good after this trick n repair it's quality of heating is decreased... It's my humble request
Esse induction khhrab toa nahi hoga na? Kyo ki philips company ke induction instructions me saaf likha hai ki utensils aur induction ke beecha me khucha bhi nahi hona chahi ye.
I think something is confusing because there are two types of mesh one is steel and another one is stainless steel. Check it out which one is perfect for it and try again
It will destroy your induction, how? You need to understand that induction works with all vessels that have "Iron" in there base. Example: Steel, etc When you keep the steel mesh, induction starts to heat it, inductions' top plate gets over heated & it will take too much electricity, too much time to cook anything. Even you steel mesh will give scratches on the glass top! Stay away from such fools...
Bad trick kyunki mere pigeon ke induction mein to steel ka koi bhi bartan chal jaata hai isme trick ki koi baat nahi hai trick batani hai to aluminium ke baratn ke liye batao kyunki wo nahi chalta hai

if you had a steel pot you wouldn't need the mesh lol :) and yes it will get very hot very fast and may burn the cooktop.
cant you just put the pan in another pan that is compatible?

Copper base bartan chalta hai?
mine heats up after few seconds and give error.. why is that so? kindly help
+areej azhar use only steel net and use flat bottom pots.
If you pan is not magnetic. It won't work
Zabardast trick. I will try .Thanks
It will consume extra power and may spoil the function of induction.
Can we use silver utensils on induction
Can we use?
basically what induction does is heats the wire mesh and in turn it heats the utensil as aluminium does not support electromagnetic induction
Jali piglae gi ki nahi

@@mohit6466 you instructed scientifically...
Thank you Indua bro
It shows error because its a thin walled vessels, you have a chance to melt it.
Nice solution.
Problem is that only normal steel works on my induction cooktop. No induction pans for me
Normal steel (and some stainless) will work on every induction cooker.
I think it will take more time in cooking
Luv u sir ❤
Super trick, thank you, but I don't know it will work or not.
