PERFECT BRASS BAND PLAYING JUPITER
I find it strangely comforting that 3 bones at 4:25 can over power the entire group. Beyond amazing.
+Blayne Cowan I find it strangely comforting that you posted the same comment twice.
+Joe Phillips What can I say? I find it strangely comforting xD
Well, 3 bones and four tubas... :)
Except Peter Roberts on Sop!
This comfortable feeling is off the charts
2:55 Majestic
No performance is as interesting and intriguing and captivating as this performance
so beautiful and perfect
This was absolutely epic!
Talk about a lightning dynamic change at 5:25. pp --> ff --> mf in literally one second.
This masterpiece promotes spilitual uplift and awakening , and activates the soul
Really good stuff.
Perfect
Rather nice that. 😊
oh my word thats good!
fucking amazing
Zurücklegen und geniessen.....
Is it me or does the cornet on the naxos cd cover have a massive dent in the crook?
2:54 chorale.
This fucking insane, they are so good. This was brilliant af
Seems to be wandering in the Galaxy that shows infinite expanse
why would one dislike
Most likely "purists" who would say this chart should not be played by anything but a "proper" symphony orchestra (never mind Holst actually wrote this for two PIANO's).
Still good though
Euph. The chords in the background are the slideguys.
heck yes
is the solo playing at 3:00 an euphonium or trombone?
obviously euphonium, i can hear it now
There's two instruments playing, the Euphonium is the dominant but I believe a cornet (could be a trombone) is playing alongside too.
Pretty sure it's a Euphonium doubled by a French Horn or Alto Horn. The Cornet picks up 30 seconds into it.
I don't think the euphonium comes in until after the cornet. That sounds more like tenor horns and baritone.
Tabourba No, definitely not a euphonium at 3:00. Listen to 3:54 when the euphonium is doubling the cornet, very different sound. I’d bet a baritone.
sa tricote !
Too fast!
themarsbar112 true, it is very fast but it's very impressive. I like it both ways
