Some teleport you to something that kills you, some are fakes that don’t actually save, some teleport you to a previous section of the board and only one in each is the actual checkpoint. And to make it harder why not make the checkpoints like the doors it changes randomly 😁

I wonder if its possible to create a checkpoint that is repelled away from the player. The closer you are to it, the more it is repelled away. Im just enjoying the idea of Gray trying to chase down or corner an escaping checkpoint while also dodging whatever obstacle course hes in.
He did that once, the checkpoint appeared in a spot that when used, would not allow Gray to respawn in a way that allowed him to continue in the correct direction on a wallride, he needed to wallride all the way back to the beginning in order to turn around and move in the correct direction.

Here's an idea. A board chock full of checkpoints. So many they're stacked on top of each other and it becomes hard to see the board. But more importantly, when there's so many of them, whatever progress is made doesn't mean much. Can even make the board harder because he'll restart in inconvenient places.
This comment really applies with that Gray has gone through on this video XD I'll keep asking for Alex and Danny, or even Nick now, to look at Gray's playlist of both Sims 4 and Species and, either by just looking at the title or outcome in the video, they use that as inspiration to make maps to torture Gray the same way he tortured his Sims and Species. Gray you should have one of your board creators to make a bored that is a combination of all the other boards you have played by them but there are no checkpoints just a suggestion
I imagine that Alex builds these maps and then, like us, tunes in to the videos to see if Gray makes it because he legitimately has no idea if they're even possible or not. I mean, clearly he has to test some parts so that he's got stuff at just the right distance, but I think he probably doesn't drive all the way through to see if the combination of things is possible.
