The 5088 is my ultimate goal. I want to hook it up with two IZ Radar machines and the Adam monitors Rupert Neve used to test his consoles.

@@jamescave7102 You're welcome! They're pulling the same B.S. over on Instagram. I ALMOST got caught up in it. They want access to your bank info so they can charge you "shipping fees" for the "prize" you won. You can't always trust what you see on the Web anymore! I refused to give them my bank info. I asked them if I won the prize why don't they just send it? They never got back to me.I contacted Sweetwater and they told me the guys were fake and stole their logo.
This definitely seems nicer than my Nanokontrol2.

Well, although I absolutely love it, it's just a tiny wee bit above my budget. I bought a Presonus Studiolive 32SC for a little over 3 grand. It has automation too. I looked at I"d only need about $192,262 more for the Neve. Don't really know how many organs I can sell since I only have one old used liver and a couple of tired kidneys.😉 Great video as always!

Is it not an issue with the monitors literally firing into the back of the console and bouncing off the meter bridge? Curious about that decision. Cheers

Those appear to be a pair of ATC SCM150 ASL. If so, the 15” drivers on the bottom, tucked slightly behind the Neve’s meter bridge, has a crossover frequency of 380Hz. That means they are only producing low mid-bass and sub-bass frequencies, which are far less directional than higher frequencies. This means that the effects of that driver being obstructed by the desk are very slight, if not completely immeasurable.
This is by no means a one size fits all scientific answer because there are many factors involved (the biggest being the room). Bass frequencies are omnidirectional, meaning a subwoofer performs very similarly when placed at different locations in the room.
