It was refreshing to be able to connect with a story that is very relatable to all women around the world. Crystal Liu was well chosen for this role. For once, we do not see the Chinese ideal of a stick insect as a beauty standard. Instead, we see a young woman, beautiful in all her alluring womanly curves, poise & elegance who goes out to make a mark for herself. Mistakes, she does make & lessons learned from it is what makes this drama stand out for me, compared to so many other C-dramas out there. No tropes like falling for a guy to catch the FL etc. With the 1st guy you see the raw attraction & they actually have a physical relationship where she spends time in the bedroom with him. Most other dramas avoid this particular aspect which is real enough in the real world but in C-dramaland, there is always a coyness that avoids it. So far me, Rose is the best C-drama to date.

I watch this drama now. Really a amazing drama. Liu Yifei always surprise us for her acting so nstural so beautiful. 😍❤️
