Wow thats a great project for the environnement and no pollution 👍
I don’t think I can formulate the right words to say how amazing this is!
I will have to try this, great job
You could get so many shades of color simply by mixing with different ratios
I've been eyeing the leaves all winter long and finally got around to experimenting with some papermaking. Had no idea if this would actually work, but pleasantly surprised by the results! Time to figure out what to do with it...
Full video up for a more in depth process, or just enjoy 60 secs of papermaking ASMR!
It felt like he was going to eat it at first.
I mean I knew how it worked, but wow still caught me off guard
Lost for words 😢its beautiful😮
Always wonder if we can something out of dead leaves haha amazing!!
Can the paper be folded without damage?
This is actually so cool
im curious how well you can write, draw, or paint on it and how it compared to regular paper
Thanks for the video, Was thinking about making my owm homogenized tabbaco paper.
It can be used as packaging Material
This is great! Like why kill trees when we can use leaves? We just waste them... plus trees give oxygen.
@@sternritter_d bro leaves are on the tree- they meant the leaves that fall
beautiful
Do they rott?
If i transmigrate in a historical book,i know how to make a living now thank to you
Eco friendly paper
Is it also possible to make paper out of flowers?
You can actually do this with any fiber, it's pretty all pretty much the same process
Find some fibers
Chop them up
Pound them flat
Mix with water
Pour onto a frame
That’s coool
ah yes, a new way to make parchments
O M GGGGGGGGGG I NEED MY NEPHEW TO LEARN THIS TYSM
Now your true challenge is making plastic garbage into paper:)
Awesome!
What kind of fabric are you doing the sheets of paper on? Such a nice texture.
Bro waited all fall for 4 sheets of paper. 😅
Lol jk aside, this is pretty nice.
I would definitely try this but lets see if my mother lets me touch the stove 😅 tho i dont have the frame thing..
Hi! Your project is so amazing! Can I have a full steps on how you do this? I am planning to do research paper about this but testing leaves here in the Philippines. Thank you.
Sure! The basic steps are... 1.) Turning the leaves into a pulp (that's where I cut the leaves into tiny pieces, boil them, mash 'em and blend them. 2.) Then I pour the pulp into a vat/tub of water and use a deckle and mould to collect a layer of fibers on a screen by pulling it through the mixture. 3.) Then I use a sponge, towels, and cloth to couch the paper (this is where I use the sponge to release the wet fibers on the screen and press them into a cloth). 4.) Next, I let the paper dry on the cloth (usually under weight to prevent warping, I use wooden boards and concrete pavers). Lasty, I carefully peel the new paper off the cloth. And that's it! If you do plan to try this, check out my full length video. I go into depth talking about the whole process and it'll (hopefully!) help you out. Best of luck!
Hi! Abaca leaves are native to the Philippines and are used in I believe the same way to make slightly transparent paper! You might have the wonderful opportunity to get to make it with the fresh leaves. Good luck!
What type of writing utensils would you use it looks like graphite pencil lead may not be seen well
Mmmm leaf soup
you can also use paper trash too
Very Nice
Dhanya wad Mitra
amazing
I never knew u could do this...
What would happen if you bleached the leaves before hand? Would be a lighter color?
Wow
😳😳😳😳😳❤️❤️❤️❤️
Did you use any sizing in this?
nice
What did they leave it on to dry?? Seems like fabric or something?
u use a glue for make the paper or no?
Amazing work. Can you please tell me 0:35 what is that machine called
Brother is trying to say.......It’s better to use leaves instead of the whole tree😀
Is the paper soft enough to use in the toilet?
What liquid is in the tub?
On devraient tous faire comme ça au lieu de gâcher des arbres à mère nature
Isn't that basically papyrus at that point?
i can make a profit out of the thousands of leaves in the fall thanks to my avocado tree
Which tree leaves these are??
Is that just water like nothing is added to it ??
You can add glue if you like, but I don't personally think it's necessary
Hey man! Please teach me how to make rock paper from rock powder
You have unique tutorials, thank you
@@TheMOfficial500 Hi again! But my friend! Currently, stone paper is being made in the world, and I know that its combined material is stone powder and a layer of flexible fibers.
@@user-lz5ig8wf7mOh yeah, right, but Wikipedia says it consists from about 80% of CaCO3, 18% of HDPE plastic and 2% company filling. Those are ingredients I wouldn't expect to see with n eco artist
@@TheMOfficial500 Exactly! Yes! Well done to you / I did a small and relative research and came close to some alternative solutions to achieve a nature-friendly composition, but I need the guidance and cooperation of an experienced person like you / we can use the materials in nature to find and use similar properties and properties and proximity to the composite materials used in this type of paper. / For example, we can use gum or plant sap instead of plastic and filler to increase the flexibility and strength of the paper. / It's just that I'm stuck at a potter's foot in the making, and it's the paper-thinning that I can't do
Even if you can teach me how to make paper from hard objects like walnut or pistachio, it can make the process of making stone paper easier for me.
Ce nes pas du caca
What was your method for processing the leaves? And what fabric did you overturn the deckle/ paper on to?
OMG kid project that can lead to more kid projects. This is freaking amazing. Can't wait to get my nephews and son together!
Thanks! Sounds like you got the idea! Nothing better than making art on homemade paper!
Heyyy sir I want to ask something can u help me???
I didn’t even think about that!! I have plan on homeschooling and this would be a great way to teach so many things. I also know you can use used paper to do this too, and it could be a neat way to reuse old projects instead of just throwing them away or keeping way too many of them
